NärCon 2026 💫

A year in the making, it all came together well in the end! Between moving cities, studying and working I had for a long time no idea if this would even be possible, yet here we are!

I was finally able to wear my new costume of Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates!

It's been a wonderful few days meeting and hanging out with friends both old and new!! I'd like to thank all of the lovely people I got to hang out with! I'd like to especially thank my friend @crocutaa for all your help and encouragement throughout. This would not have been possible and not half as fun without you!

A year ago I set two goals for myself:

1. Make an entirely new costume based on a game that has meant a lot to me.
2. Have the courage to show it off on stage.

Both became reality and being able to say that brings me immense joy

Anything is possible.
I make my own fate.

Silly con!!! Aka ncs!!! I had a BLAST, getting to have a big ressy squad, be Tyranny with my loves @charoncraft and @ace_space_cosplay and then big Hades squad is everything i could have asked for 😭😭😭 I am so proud of my Tyranny performance in master even though i didn't place (and I had the absolute best assistant in @charoncraft that I could ever have asked for, cant believe you can deal with my stressed bullshit💖🐝)! But huge congrats to @pilerudscosplay , @a.k.a.chibi and @stingscosplay for placing!!! 🫶🫶🫶 #cosplayersofinstagram #cosplay #ncs26

⚠️TW mention of suicide⚠️

Looking back on this past year I am thankful that I never gave up when I thought that the only thing that could help me was to end it. Looking back on these pictures I’m reminded why everything matters, why I matter. At the start of the year I thought that my life was over, no goals, no ideas and nothing to call a “calling”. I spent some time with my therapist but I thought nothing would change, but the more time passed, the more I felt that these feelings and thoughts could be handled. And then like a miracle it dawned on me, to become a teacher, a teacher who could help their students and give them a place to be seen and heard. So I went for it, applied for a program and 4 months later I was on my way to Malmö to make my dream come to. Starting a new life and after 4 months I feel better then ever and finally at peace with my mind. But getting here was never easy but I have to give my thanks and flowers to my beautiful friends and family that have given me strength and joy and most of all, a place to be seen for who I am. And yeah! I came out as nonbinary and changed my name, woah crazyyy I know but I finally feel comfortable with my identity to. I don’t know what more to write but I just want to say thank you to everyone that have been with me the last year, I suck at taking pictures with people so if you’re not here you’re still near and dear to me and yeah! Hope 2026 is even better aaaand bye!

This years Närcon was a blast but also so different, the air felt different (no pun intended). Easier to express my inner nerd. So many friends to spend time with and new friends to create bonds with. This year I promised to let go and be myself more and it was such a nice feeling. Didn’t get many pictures or videos (except Hima hehehe) but what I got was great memories. So thank you to everyone for an amazing Närcon. See you next year!

🐉 NärCon 2025 ☄️

This crazy week has been my first time attending a cosplay convention. It's been a hot, tiring and sweaty, but incredibly fun new experience for me.

Me and @elias_ken7 cosplayed Zack and Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, as well as two original fantasy characters. I grew up playing #FFVII and getting to do this has truly meant realizing a childhood dream of mine. The elf character has sorta been way of self-expression for me. He's inspired by a D&D world created by my friend @vafals

It's been wonderful meeting and hanging out with friends, both old and new! I have to send love to @n0sfer4tus @sunnyshinedayz and @crocutaa for being such a joy to hang out with, and for helping us with makeup and wigs!!

I'm absolutely exhausted but so incredibly happy as well
Thank you, @narcon ❤️

NCS25 - Over
.
Months of preparing for a few days together with my favorite people is bittersweet. I had a blast this year despite DRIPPING with sweat because of the muscle suit I wore for SB Sett! I only managed to deal with it for a few hours Thursday and Friday since it got so bad!
Had 2 photoshoots, one with @heliaq_photography on Thursday the moment after we parked and then later on with @yungsenpaiphoto who we worked with for the first time and it was a very pleasant experience despite the rain and I hope we'll get the chance to do it again! Stockholm ♡ Umeå-gang is going strong, meeting fellow Scandis and friends from other parts of Sweden is ALWAYS a good time! Doing silly tiktoks and filming for our whack drama has been hilarious. Once again, thank you all SO much for this amazing weekend and for all the laughs ♡ see you all next year!
