August 2026: My Dirty Thirties Era Thank you all so much for making this month so special and fun! I got to see so many friends I hadn't seen in years, met so many amazing people at Filmland, and celebrated my 30th birthday and 30 years cancer free with the people I love most. I had a family birthday party, a friend birthday party and yesterday Boxcar and I had a belated birthday party for me while I was visiting him in the cancer ward. Y'all mean the world to me and I am feeling so loved and thankful for such a beautiful community of friends, artists, family and chosen family.I am so grateful for this gift of life that I know I am most fortunate for. Every grey hair and wrinkle is a blessing that I don't take for granted. I am so grateful to age and know how lucky I am to have survived the day I was born. Youth is wasted on the young but aging is never lost on cancer survivors. I have always had the attitude that there is no point in me surviving cancer if I don't live life to the fullest. Create art and connections. And use cancer as a super power of compassion and strength. Cheers to us! Cheers to life! I love you all. Thank you for making my chance at life so worth it! Existence is precious. Aging is a blessing. I am grateful to be here and even more grateful to have all of you in my life. La vie est belle!

Little Rock! This Friday, August 28th, you have another opportunity to see ANNIVERSARY ROULETTE on the big screen. We love the @reelqueerfilm festival and are honored to be among such a beautiful collection of Queer cinema. From the earliest days of this short, we knew how important it was to give Queer audiences something worthwhile. To represent our multifaceted communities in a fun and cathartic way that isn't often seen. See y'all there!

FILMLAND 2026 Filmland was insane and I definitely haven’t processed all of it, but nonetheless was a huge success thanks to the amazing staff members and volunteers that put everything into that week!! Enjoy the collection of photos (& video) I obtained from that week, both in moments of chaos and a couple snidbits of peace I deemed worth being in a camera frame. + bonus points to @a.camp_bli

What a weekend for our team down in Little Rock! Not only did we have the world premieres for both THE ROBBERY and ANNIVERSARY ROULETTE, but we were chosen as the winners of a $60K Panavision grant to be used on our next feature. (More on this soon!) We are so incredibly proud and grateful for the opportunities to create art together. It's our favorite thing and we aren't slowing down any time soon. None of this would be possible without our incredible cast/crew who worked their asses off to realize our shared dreams. We are eternally indebted to y'all. And also, we owe a great deal of appreciation to our close friends with ACS and Filmland who have had our backs in so many ways over the years. This truly is such a supportive community and we are lucky to be a part of that. In the coming weeks, we will be announcing more opportunities to see the films. So don't be a stranger. -- Molly, Andrew, Ben.

FILMLAND IS NEXT WEEK! @arkansascinema's annual film festival is next week at @arkmfa in Little Rock! I absolutely love Filmland and it was an honor to compose ACS's Reel Talk podcast theme song. Here are photos from previous years of good times and great art. I am so excited!. Fun fact: @officiallymcconaughey will be there and he was a @rotaryinternational Youth Exchange Student like I was. See you next week and say hi! I love meeting new people at these events and everyone is so kind and open minded. Arkansas Film is on the rise!
