Soooooo…. Last night the very 1st cohort of the @heritagewellnesscollective graduated with our certificate in Heritage Farmers Market Business Accelerator! 👏🏻 👩‍🎓 👨🏽‍🎓 🎉

It was a wonderful and educational 9-week program where we learned skills to take our farmers market businesses to the next level. We got to rub elbows with fellow artisans and fellow farmers and made some cool new friends!

Thank you to the Heritage Collective who took the time to create the curriculum, to find so many fantastic speakers and to keep us all on track! Thank you to @usdagov for funding this program through the Farmers Market Promotion Program.

Thank you to our mentors @theangeloranch and
@theebonyrobinson who will be working with us over the next 6 weeks on SMART Goals to ensure we implement bits and pieces of the things we learned.

I am looking forward to putting everything into practice taking the bakery to the next level 👏🏻

🌟 What a journey! 🌟

In Session 7, our cohort dug into the numbers 📊 and learned how data can shape smart decisions. Session 8 explored the power of mentorship 🤝—how to lean on and learn from those who’ve walked the path before.

By Session 9, it was time to celebrate 🎓✨! Each participant showed up with dedication, engaged fully in every session, and is striving to grow their business in amazing ways. 🌱💼

We couldn’t be prouder of this first Farmers MBA (Market Business Accelerator) Cohort—your passion and commitment inspire us all. 💚

REPOST @croomstead New Flock Who Dis 🐣

This getting back to the land journey is wild! I’ve had the worse luck with raising up my chicks from young just for them to get attacked once they are grown, plump and laying eggs… Its enough to make you give up, but I’ve decided to start over once again with chicks that needed a home. Pops got his homeboy to build me a predator proof coop and now I’m raising 8 hens and (maybe) 3 roosters and they will be able to live out their lives in peace in their new home. Rip to the dead homies…appreciate them for providing us sustenance in their short lived life cycle. #BuildBackBetter #BackyardChickens #LayingHens #Homesteading #ChickensOfInstagram
