This afternoon, I dropped by one of my favorite spots, Café Momentum Pittsburgh to get ready for next week’s “Dining with Community Champions” event that I will be hosting.

In recognition of Youth Justice Action Month, guests will have a chance to meet the young people at the heart of this work, and see how a restaurant can become a pathway to employment, stability, and a brighter future.

If you have never been to Cafe Momentum, do yourself a favor and check it out. Cheyenne Tyler and her team do amazing work with the youth.. and serve up some pretty delicious food!

2025 was an absolute roller coaster filled with some wholesome & wonderful people, unexpected loops filled with events that shaped who i am today, and wow! it felt faster than a lightning bolt.

biggest lesson i learned this year: keep your head up, no matter what & never give up, even when it feels like everything is crumbling around you!

wishing everyone a lovely & prosperous 2026 🫂♥️🍾

Passion Project Presents - Greetings🫱🏾‍🫲🏿: Giving dap can be a form of saying “We locked in”, “I love you”, “I respect you”, or “I got your back”.

It’s a unique yet common ritual found in every inch of culture. The closer the bond, the more unique it gets. A coded language spanning generation after generation.

Greetings is a multimedia project curated to demonstrate the power of community, study culture, and the allure of dapping as a status symbol and lifestyle across generations.

I’m moving to Charlotte! Here’s some pics from fun things I’ve done while packing: a goodbye roast, being Larry the Cable Dyke, my friend’s 30th bday, holding a bar cat, my birthday, boat, and missing my friend. It’s not goodbye Pittsburgh, it’s I’ll see ya on Thanksgiving & Christmas probably.

A little 2024 Gingerly Press Recap ✨ As I prepare plans for the 2025 year ahead, I find it so important to look back at the past year and reflect in gratitude for all the growth, opportunities, friends, family and new connections I got to experience 🥰 thank YOU for being here!

1. New colorful portrait by new friend & collaborator @_sam.mccoy_
2. I taught a LOT of workshops this year, including a lot of private workshops, our first notebook printing & binding workshops, and our first team building workshops! Thank you to everyone who has come out to get inky with me! 🧡
3. I got to witness the Total Solar Eclipse with loved ones and it rocked me to my core.
4. I made some cute prints about the Eclipse experience so others could commemorate their experience of this wild natural phenomenon too ✨
5. Traveled to Louisville, KY for an awesome show & print gathering with @bradvetter, @blountben , @ay_dree_un & @friendofmine.lovesyou in April.
6. Made new Pittsburgh Print & Card Set— my first buildings made of metal type!
7. Debuted as an Emerging Artist Scholar at the @culturaltrust Three Rivers Arts Festival & won an award for Best Use of Recycled Materials, guaranteeing I’ll be back in 2025!
8. Took myself out on my first solo backpacking trip since my assault in 2022, faced some triggering fears and had an awesome time reconnecting with the woods & my love of backpacking in peace. ❤️‍🩹
9. Launched my shop on @faire_wholesale
10. Completed some very cool commissions, this one for a book cover with @skqbrightgreenfutures
11. Set a lot of vintage metal type 🤓
12. Designed, printed & bound 7 new large journal designs!
13. Made my first ornaments & one-of-a-kind prints for sale and sold out—twice! 40 ornaments in loving homes 🎄
14. Had a beautiful professional video captured of my art, studio & process by talented new friends @_sam.mccoy_ , @_anhdvu_ and @croposition (see the full length on my site!)
15. Had this sweet little ham dishing out the emotional support snuggles through it all 🧡

Thank you all for making 2024 a solid one. You make this all possible! Here’s to our next trip around the sun together!

October | BTS from our time with @gingerlypress

Lindsay gave me a lot of clarity on what the next steps of the Resolution Project could be 💕 And everyone I worked with this year had the most encouraging feedback about their experiences.

I can’t wait to work with more small businesses/artists/creators/cutie pies in 2025.

I’ll be posting more about this in January but if you’ve been wanting photo or video work for yourself/your work/your small business/your project/etc but don’t know where to start or don’t think you can afford it please reach out. It can be confusing and nerve racking investing in these services but I would love to help navigate it with you.

free project consults & sliding scale budget options available

Reach out to get on the books 💙
