Friday Faves ~ @crossbowcoffee.nz ☕🍩✨
National Donut Day feels like the perfect excuse to celebrate the team at Crossbow Coffee Roasters especially when they're known for bringing out their legendary housemade donuts every Friday.

Known for roasting their own coffee, serving beautiful brunches, and baking everything from scratch onsite, Crossbow has built a loyal following for good reason. But ask the locals what day to visit and most will tell you: Friday.
That's when the legendary housemade donuts and sticky buns make their appearance.

They are dangerously good!

And there's even more reason to celebrate. Recently, Crossbow's Head Chef Lou was named the winner of the Hospitality New Zealand Nelson Tasman Emerging Leader Initiative, recognising the future leaders of our industry. An incredible achievement and a testament to the talented team behind this local favourite. Congratulations Lou!

Whether you're stopping in for an award-winning coffee, a leisurely brunch, or one of those famous Friday donuts, @crossbowcoffee.nz is always worth the visit.
Happy National Donut Day! 🍩💚

📍Crossbow Coffee Roasters, Nelson
It might not be right in the city, but it’s so worth for a wee trip!
Their hotcake is an absolute must! So popular it took me three tries to finally get one 😤
Topped with seasonal fruits, lemon curd, and meringue!!!
And of course, their brews are obviously wonderful :)

This Month’s Coffee – Brought to You by Crossbow Coffee Roasters ☕🎯

The Roaster
@crossbowcoffee.nz is a small-batch roastery doing big things out of Nelson. With a 2kg roaster and a whole lot of love for detail, every batch is dialed in with care. Whether it’s their house Crossbow Blend or a delicate single origin like this one, their focus is on balance, clarity, and flavour that hits the mark.

The Coffee
🌍 Ethiopia Edido Yirgacheffe – Delicate, juicy, and tea-like
This beauty comes from Idido village in the lush Yirgacheffe highlands, grown by hundreds of smallholder farmers and processed naturally. Expect soft peach and strawberry acidity, caramel sweetness, and a whisper of cinnamon—all wrapped up in a delicate, tea-like body.
