We’re very fresh with this and I’ve barely scraped the surface when it comes to education of this illness but so far so good. We’ve found this is what works for me and being fuelled enough for our style of training 💪🏻 I’m Lucky enough to have my beautiful wife supporting me through this and making some delicious meals. Onwards and upwards 😋❤️

About as raw and realistic as it gets. I could ramble on for hours about the impact this news has made on me not only physically but mentally. I’m 8kg lighter, I feel weak and fragile my energy is low but we are on the come back. This is Our next chapter. I’m scared, I’m clueless and I’m vulnerable but im not rolling over and I’m taking everyone on the ride with me. Lucky I have the greatest support crew in the world ❤️

For years, CrossFit has been one of my favourite things to give @emma.walker.369 a hard time about.

To be fair, she’s made it very easy. 😂

I’ve never quite understood her enthusiasm for paying good money to be physically exhausted. I lift heavy stuff all day at work — apparently if you do it in a shed with loud music, chalk and a timer, it becomes a sport. 😂

I’ve had plenty to say about CrossFit over the years for someone who had never actually tried it.

Which, as it turns out, was a tactical error.

Because eventually you might try it.

And then discover it’s actually… really bloody good. 🤦‍♂️😂

I’ve now done a few sessions at CrossFit 4740 and, much as it pains me to admit it, I completely understand why Emma loves it.

The workouts are great, but the people are what really make it. Every coach has been absolutely brilliant — knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and somehow able to make you feel good while you’re questioning your life choices.

And every athlete has been just as welcoming and encouraging. No ego, no judgement — just a great bunch of people genuinely wanting everyone around them to do well.

It’s a pretty awesome environment to walk into as a beginner.

There is, however, nothing quite as humbling as discovering your wife can comfortably out-lift you. 😂 Emma has waited YEARS for this moment and I’m sure she’s enjoying every second of it.

Fortunately, I can still outrun her on my worst day. 😏🏃‍♂️💨

So we’ll call it even.

Huge thanks to everyone at CrossFit 4740 for being so welcoming.

And Emma… I get it now. ❤️

I may even retire some of the CrossFit jokes.

Some.

Definitely not all. 😂

Day 100/100✅ thankyou for all of your support. I’m so grateful for the people around me and what we’ve been able to achieve inside 100 days, I never thought I could positively impact people the way this page has and it fills me with joy knowing someone out there is inspired. ❤️ can’t wait for what’s next
