Where’d all the time go?! 🥹❤️

I swear I blinked, and Emma’s braces were OFF!

September 2024 feels like yesterday. After years of being a pacifier baby, Emma’s teeth were pretty crooked, and I honestly had no idea what to expect when we started this journey. Fast forward two years, and I cannot believe how EASY, smooth, and surprisingly quick the entire process was!

I have to give the biggest THANK YOU to Dr. Crossley and his incredible team @crossleyortho! From spacers to braces to rubber bands, Emma went through it all, but Dr. Crossley made every step feel so manageable.

What I appreciated most was how detailed and thorough he was at every single appointment. He always explained exactly what was happening, what was next, and how much longer we had to go. There was never any guessing, and we always felt like Emma was in the best hands.

And just like that… two years later, she has the most BEAUTIFUL smile! ❤️

If you’re a parent in Frisco, McKinney, or Prosper considering orthodontic treatment for your child, I truly cannot recommend Dr. Crossley enough. From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded my expectations.

Thank you, Dr. Crossley, for making this journey so easy and giving Emma a smile we absolutely LOVE!

For Trevor Norris, his smile became something much bigger than he ever expected.

Bucket list…✅

When we were Invited to our first rave, @dasenergifestival I went expecting to dance.

Instead, I found myself mostly watching.

And smiling.

Watching hundreds of people move through music in completely different ways. Some wild and expansive. Some barely moving at all. Some with their eyes closed. Some laughing with strangers. Some wrapped up in the people they came with. 💖

And somehow, none of it felt like it needed to be anything other than exactly what it was.

I’ve danced my whole life. Movement has always felt natural to me. I’ve never had much fear around taking up space, being seen, or letting music move through my body.

But this time, I didn’t feel any need to be at the center of it.

I felt full. 🫶

Completely, strangely, beautifully content just witnessing other people find their own version of that freedom.

Maybe that was my favorite part.

There was no right way to move.
No right way to look.
No prerequisite for belonging.

Just human beings remembering, for a few hours, that they could inhabit their bodies without apologizing for them.

And I felt so much gratitude for the friends beside me the kind of people who match my energy without requiring me to create it. Who can meet me in joy, curiosity, ridiculousness, stillness, healing whatever the moment asks for.

I think I’m realizing that wholeness feels a lot quieter than I once imagined it would.

It isn’t being the most interesting person in the room.
It isn’t being admired.
It isn’t even being understood by everyone around you.

Sometimes it’s sitting on the ground in the middle of all that sound and movement, looking around at a sea of people, and feeling absolutely no need to be anywhere else or anyone else.

Just this quiet knowing:

I am already enough.
They are already enough.
We don’t have to earn our right to take up space here.

And maybe there is something incredibly healing about witnessing other people remember that, too.

This handsome dude got phase 1 of braces off today!! 🤩😍 I cannot get over the difference! He’s been so good about avoiding all the sticky foods and candy that he wasn’t able to eat so we finally hit Costco for his long awaited gushers! 🤣 Well deserved!
