@crossstudentsfay - these truly have been the best days! 7 years of this place being my home on Wednesday nights. I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting & I really can’t fathom where I would be today without this place. I have been molded and shaped into a better leader, met people who are forever friends, worked alongside the greatest people on earth, laughed until my stomach hurt, ate too much junk food, wore too many costumes, & constantly got to be spurred on by the faith of these students. Forever changed because of this place! Student ministry is the greatest job in the world. Students, y’all are world changers. Keep loving Jesus back🩷

I recently heard someone say “The phrase God won’t give you more than you can handle is false. God purposely gives you more so that you will lean on him.” There’s so many times in the bible that we see stories where the ONLY way that someone could overcome something is through the power of God!!

This summer i’ve been thinking a lot about what the next year holds and how i’m going to balance everything all at once, but it wasn’t till I replaced the I with WE that things changed in my mind. I know I’m going to be handed a lot this year and I know I won’t be able to do it alone but I can rest assured that even through all of the scheduling and business Gods light can shine through and guide me!

How grateful am I for student camp 2026!!

This week God was EVERYWHERE!
The theme of the week was that Jesus is Lord. A phrase that could not be more true! This week I felt God moving through me in ways I have not felt in a while. He allowed me to truly feel and understand that He is the only thing I need in this life! Jesus is the most constant love I will ever experience and He showed me that this week!
This week I was reminded I am a vessel that the Holy Spirit will work through. Even if I don’t feel Him at all times he is working behind the scenes, and everything I encounter, good or bad, is going to shape me into the person He has made me to be. We also need to fully and completely trust that He is the one who began the work, and He will also be the one to finish it!! Following God is truly the most beautiful thing we will ever get to do!
Thank you for all the blessings this week Jesus!
