Yesterday I competed in the Belllingham Off-road Triathlon. It was gusty at the start so it made the lake swim very choppy. The trails were in great shape because of the rain except for the slick roots. Really great todo a triathlon on a mountain bike! Also got first place in my age group! @bellinghamoffroadtri @epicracingteam #nuunlife #thefeedme #canyonlux

Don’t move here. It’s awful in the Pacific Northwest. It rains all the time and the skies are always grey. #pnw #canyonlux #xcmtb @epicracingteam

Race #2 is in the books! Today’s course was mix of mud, slushy snow, slick roots, with a little bit of hero dirt mixed in. Finished a respectable 7th in my age group. I lost a bunch of time being really careful through the snow and wasn’t able to gain it on the climbs and in the mud. Next race is in 2 weeks on my backyard trails! @epicracingteam @bell.lap.bike #nuunlife #thefeedme

Great time racing in the snow today! I came in 8th and very happy with the result considering the conditions. Looking forward to more races this year!

Felt great to be outside on the mountain bike again. It gets tough this time of year to just do workouts indoors, but the weather was nice to go out and explore the trails today. #xcmtb #canyonlux @epicracingteam #nuunlife #thefeed

4th place in my age group at the Lake Meridian Triathlon this morning. I did the Sprint distance and crushed the bike split (20th out of 184). I finished 84th overall. I’m really pleased with my performance since this is only my second ever triathlon. Next up is Ironman 70.3 in September!

Raced the Washington State Cross Country Mountain Bike Championship today. I’m still fighting a cold with a cough so I couldn’t stay with the group today. Finished 11th on a fun course. Hopefully this race will be back next year. #xcmtb #canyonbikes @epicracingteam #nuunlife #thefeedme
