Opening Night was pure storybook magic... with just the right amount of chaos.

Broadway Our Way: Fractured Fairy Tales officially opened last night to a crowd full of laughter, cheers, and happily-ever-afters with a twist. From fabulous fairy tale characters to unforgettable performances, the energy in the theater-and the lobby-was absolutely magical.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Opening Night and supported Uptown Players through the evening’s fundraiser festivities, including the fan-favorite Gift Bag Grab. Even our Fairy Godmother made her way through the lobby to grant some wishes. Your generosity helps make productions like this possible, and we are so grateful for this incredible community.

Special thanks to Kris Ikejiri for beautifully capturing the wonder, laughter, and energy of the lobby experience through his photos.

The search for the Key to Happiness continues at the Kalita Humphreys Theater with 3 performances remaining: Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM and Sunday at 2:00 PM

In the town of UP… things got a little wild in the woods. 🌲

The Three Bears may have traded porridge for leather, the Big Bad Wolf is looking suspiciously charming, and Snow White seems to have found herself very close to Bashful… though we’re not entirely convinced he’s living up to his name. 👀

Meanwhile, Cinderella is still dreaming of a better tomorrow... and possibly wondering why everyone else got a makeover first.

In Broadway Our Way: Fractured Fairy Tales, every storybook character is searching for the legendary Key to Happiness… but getting there? That’s where the chaos begins.

4 performances only:
Tonight, Friday, Saturday at 8:00 PM and Sunday at 2:00 PM
Arrive early, grab a drink and meet your fairy godmother!

Because in this fairy tale… nothing goes as planned—and that’s exactly the point.
