North Lincs 10k 🏃‍♂️🔥

First race of the year and what a start!

Ran with the lads again @crunchiekneerunner & @runner_pete93 which I absolutely love doing these events with you guys!

A sub 50 for me, a little quicker than my last 10k so I'll take it. A nice starting block for the year! Let's go!!

Donny 10k! ❤️🏃‍♂️ @curlysathletes you smashed it yet again!

My favourite event by far! I love my home town and I love the event here on my door step!

This one meant so much more than the others. Fighting injury for most of the year but I'm back and I gave it all I had! Over the moon with my result.

Too many people to thank! So many people along with the way. More so in these last few months during my time away from the tarmac. My physio Damo! Special mention to you mate because without your help, I don't think I would've been on the start line.

My family and friends as always, supporting me with my running. Always there for me no matter what. Cheering me on.

Special mentions to friends completing the run today. So proud of every single one of you. Finish lines not finish times people!

Photo credit for Jess and Nicola, thanks for the annual support. Love it!

@rachaelfletcher91 as always! Last but not least, I know you want to be out there cheering me on most events but you hold the fort at home. Keep everything going on while I'm running. You don't get enough credit! Thank you ❤️

Can't wait to see what 2026 brings!

Doncaster City 10k ✅

LONG POST ALERT 🚨

Where do I start! Let's take it right back, if you know about this, sorry you're reading about it again 😂

6 weeks ago, I got the dreaded "sorry all tickets have sold out" oh no! I can't do my favourite race of the year right on my door step. Right, change of mindset! Either support my friends and other runners on the day or wait for a late transfer.

Luckily, got a late transfer around a month out so let's do a little bit of training and see what happens. Had to wait for two weeks out to get the name transferred and the original runner kindly offered to send the number via post. That number never arrived! All this set the panic off but luckily the amazing people organising the event sorted me a spare number. Yes I'm one of the lucky ones! Shoutout to Dawn!! ❤️

So after all that rollercoaster of am i doing the race or not. I got my number, got ready and met my friends ahead of the start.

Not sure how I was going to attack the race, PB? What I have trained for? Or just take it nice and easy due to being under the weather 🦠 (KIDS!)

Start gun went off and I felt good for the first 3km. Smiling and on pace for a sub 50 (what I had trained for).

3k-6k - started to feel it a little bit nothing major. All was well.

6k-8k - the start of the drop off.I fell off the pace and I could feel the germs just getting the better of me.

8k-9k - 50 minute pacers past me and my race was over (so I thought)

9k-10k - 1k out, just give it all you can!! Checked the watch after the finish and 50:05! Gutted but still smiling.

Checked results on the way home...49:57 chip time! Over the moon.

I stand by it, it's my favourite race of my year and it's right on my doorstep.

@curlysathletes amazing event as always. Shoutout to you guys and all the amazing volunteers!

@uni_campus_don_sport staff and students offering their services! Those compression boots are unreal!

Time for some rest 😂❤️🏃‍♂️

Really enjoyed getting back out at an event yesterday and the Humber Bridge half was spot on. A tough course and certainly paid the price today, legs are stiff but a thoroughly enjoyable run even if my face didn’t say it at times 😂 The main thing for me was I didn’t realise how much I needed that yesterday until today after a tough few weeks. #mentalhealth #running #saucony #humberbridgehalfmarathon #medalmonday #runthroughuk

Humber Bridge Half Marathon ✅

1 hour 58 minutes on the dot! Not quite a PB but I'm over the moon to manage sub 2 hours on a really tough course.

What they say is right, do hard and challenging things and surround yourself with like minded people to push you further!

It's been a long 20 weeks. Now time for some rest. Thank you all for your support!

@runthroughuk deserve a shout out for putting on such a wonderful event ❤️

NORMANBY 10k 🐝 🏃‍♂️

A lovely July morning...in the rain 😂

Firstly I want to say that I didn't run my best race at all. Those few niggles before the race seemed to have eased off right up to the start line so my plan was to attack and it was a bad choice. Felt great for 6km and then it was too much for my quad so plan B was in sight. Just go round and smile 😊 not every race has to be a PB race and to be honest I'm nowhere near PB fit. Nevertheless what a great event, my 1st time at this event and I would like to be back again next year.

Secondly, shout outs to @crunchiekneerunner and. @jessakaalicex with their amazing efforts this morning and their new PBs. I love seeing people achieve their PBs!! Smashed it guys. Very proud of your efforts.

Another shout out to @runner_pete93 who ran a great race. I loved seeing the smile back on your face and running again dude. I know it's been a little tough post marathon but you got out there today and did really well. Proud of you bud.

Thank you to @nicc.hague and the kids for the photos, videos and words of encouragement on the course in that lovely weather 🌧️ ❤️

And as always @rachaelfletcher91 your support is always what means the most to me. I know you and the girls weren't there on the course today but you held the fort back home and I'm forever grateful!! Time for coffee and donuts ❤️😂
