So that was a slightly different day! We went off for Driving @drivebetter this morning and it went well! Went better than yesterday… Then we came back to Brighton. Physio was cancelled today so went to see my Pottery friend instead. My session was cancelled this afternoon unfortunately, Michelle is not well so I hope you’re feeling better soon so we went to pick up bus we went to Cryobright @cryobright and @betterhealth.pharmacy to show my medal from the English championship Now we’re heading home and think I’ve got training tonight. Yay :))!

So today has been rather nice! Slept well after yesterday’s excitement! Got a record on my Brain game. Went for a little Drive. It went really well! Didn’t get shouted at, even once! Sarah behaved!! Popped over to Offham Farmshop. Got some supplies for a BBQ tomorrow :0 Think I’ve sprained my Ankle or something. Have been icing it and taking care! Had a session of Physio, with @jujutmg @weareneurofit . We took it a lot easier today. No need for our usual Sweat Towel! Afterwards, went to @cryobright and @betterhealth.pharmacy ! Saw someone that I hadn’t seen for sooo long. Great to see you Abdi :) Home and I’m icing my Ankle!

Hello! Soo today has been pretty awesome, despite getting a horrendously low Sleep score… We were pretty tardy getting up and out this morning but I have this problem most days tbf… Headed to @cornercoffee_co for an extra Coffee hit before my sesssion with @jujutmg @chantel @weareneurofit :) Was a great one! Had to go along to @cryobright for some much needed Compression therapy. Stopped by @betterhealth.pharmacy and got a few lovely products! Home now and probably training later

So that was a very decent Day! Got a record and a 2nd place this morning! Had all of my supplements and a lovely Smoothie! The draws are nicely packed with @huel and @actiphwater ! Wearing my lovely gifts from @angrypablo.cc today! Headed to @undergroundgymbrighton for an active recovery session! Did a quick squeeze @cryobright ! Along to @hovemade_coffee_food for some lovely Food and tolerable company!! Then a session of Physio with @jujutmg @weareneurofit . Really got me working hard. Think my heart rate was at the highest it’s been (during Physio!). Now, heading back for a quick pitstop before training tonight!!

Today has been pretty brilliant really! Am writing this before going on the Bike (and before the England game ⚽️). Didn’t do too well with my Brain game this morning…first time round. One thing about me that you might’ve picked up - I don’t give up!! Persisted and got a high score and a 3rd Place! Headed to the @undergroundgymbrighton for a little something something. My Dad was away so found myself doing a lot more, to prepare for the Day. Fed the Dogs etc. At 9:48 am, did over 1000 steps! This was unheard of! Remember it felt like not too long ago that, 1000 steps was a daily goal, that often wasn’t met… Was such a milestone! Saw something, the other Day. Walking in the Gym with my Sticks. That was difficult - a new task that was very daunting. Not just for me, but for everyone else too! It came to a point where I didn’t want to not get any better. Never want to be too comfortable… Don’t want to use Crutches for the rest of my days. What was the next step? (No pun intended!) The only logical solution was to graduate onto Walking Sticks! Was very unsteady and extremely different to Crutches… they rely on putting less downward force, through the Walking aid and promote more of an upward assistance! A year ago, they were only to be practiced with in the Gym… Now, I use them to get around safely! I will be walking unaided properly 24/7… mark my words :) If this has shown me anything, it’s that anything is possible! Made some stops off at a few places today and got permission to do something very cool! Keep you guys posted! Had a good stop off at @cryobright - for a good old squeeze. A session with @lou_thebodymechanic afterwards. We did some very exciting stuff! Walking forwards, backwards and sideways! We added some weight to my Left Leg and it really helped! It encourages the kinaesthetic feedback or something… Home now and I want to get on the bike!!

What a day…! This is meant in both ways. On the one hand, managed to get a high score and a 3rd place after trying and retrying and retrying! We prevailed! After that, had a go on the @onepeloton ! Did @yoiamsamyo Class working on cadence and Footspeed. Then practiced some starts, while it was still light out! Normally, my practice is in the evenings. The class must’ve worked as got my fastest cadence ever! 125 rpm! Struggled to get it over 60 before! Had some great news about my involvement with @huel , @theturmericco and later the @betterhealth.pharmacy :) As people might say, the excrement bashed the device intended to circulate Air…shit did indeed hit the Fan… Not going to say too much else but CBD oil was very much needed! Had to go to @cryobright for some squeezey squeezey Leg action! Compression was great today! Anyways, a bloody good Physio session with @jujutmg @weareneurofit . We then came home and made some grub! That’s pretty much it! The end :)

Today has been pretty good! Got a couple more high scores today! Slept well and think that probably played quite a role! First time round, having a go at the mini games - did nothing short of awful, on a couple of them… one, did very well … Nevertheless, wanted to try the others again. Had a few gos and was tantalisingly close but no high score… in one attempt, it was higher than my previous best but not even a top 5! Something wasn’t adding up. Aha one of my games was a Maths one. Unintentional pun! It took a good number of try’s - but we got there in the end! This sums up a lot in my rehabilitation and highlights a very important mindset, when approaching a problem. If you don’t succeed and feel as if you can do better. Try again. Try again. Try again and don’t stop until you get the desired outcome! Headed to the @undergroundgymbrighton and did a bunch of stuff! Got a Coffee @smallbatchcr ; went to @betterhealth.pharmacy to talk about something exciting and along to @cryobright for some Compression. The weather wasn’t favourable so had a go on the @onepeloton ! Did 20 miles in an hour and then did a @yoiamsamyo HIIT class :) Oh yeah! Got a cool gift from @huel ! Thank you so much!!

Wow! So after the high of yesterday, was fully expecting a ‘lower’ Day - but it’s been really nice! Went to the @undergroundgymnewhaven this morning and did a few things but was there for the Sauna, being honest! Home quickly, then along to the @undergroundgymbrighton for a very quick session! Press ups and situps - you know what we do! Popped in for a lovely Coffee @smallbatchcr @joodmate (they also let me eat some Food!). Had physio, with @jujutmg @weareneurofit ! We worked on a few things that will help, when frame running. Looking forward to try it at training tonight ! Quickly,said hello to my friends at @betterhealth.pharmacy then had a compression appointment. We are currently stuck in traffic…Typical!!! (Written at 15:28)

I want to apologise to everyone who was expecting to see me fight last weekend. I know a lot of people tuned in, supported me, bought tickets and were looking forward to it. The disrespect that was shown I do not take lightly.

After everything that was going on behind the scenes, it became clear that pulling out was the right call.

First and foremost, I want to thank my team @alfieeldred @coach.khumo @brightonandhoveabc

I’m grateful to have good people around me who have my best interests at heart from start to finish.

Regardless of the level, there needs to be fairness, structure, and professionalism. Fighters deserve a clean, honest environment, and unfortunately that wasn’t the case here, this wasn’t just affecting me but multiple fighters on the card.

I’m not here to point fingers at individuals and I’m not saying the promoter was directly involved but from my experience, it seemed like there were bigger issues around how the promotion operates as a whole. Fighters put their time, health, and effort on the line, the least they deserve is a fair and properly run event.

Because of this experience, I won’t be fighting on Gunman Promotions again. Moving forward, I’ll only be working with promotions that operate professionally, honour agreements, and create a fair environment for fighters.

I’m still locked in, still training, and I’ll be back very soon in the right setting, under the right conditions.
