Goth club history in what the nights left behind: a membership card, two flyers, one photograph after a fire.

The Batcave began on Wednesdays at 69 Dean Street. The Face of February 1983 described those nights in the rooftop Gargoyle club. John Robb writes that the crowd earned a name: Batcavers.

In Leeds, Robb credits the mirrored pillar on the Phono's dance floor with the two steps forward, two steps back. The Phono's own history calls that story a popular myth.

In Creature simili, Simone Tosoni and Emanuela Zuccalà write that the Taxi would soon become Milan's Batcave. DJ Lupo remembers packed Sundays at the Hysterika from 1986, spinning the Cramps, Alien Sex Fiend, Fields of the Nephilim, the Sisters of Mercy.

In the Zwischenfall photo of 24 August 2011, a Clan of Xymox poster for 14 October hangs by the shutter.

The Goth Bible's history of Convergence says Convergence 2 brought three nights of dancing to ManRay in 1996, with a tour of Boston's cemeteries. The name reopened at 40 Prospect Street in 2023.

Douglas Delgado dates the Treibhaus to 1989. Marcelo Vilela, a Dark invited to the opening, remembers it closing in 1991.

Chi Chi Valenti and Johnny Dynell announced MOTHER's closing on Mother's Day 2000. Father Sebastiaan's Black Veils says its code began as the house rules of the Long Black Veil night.

Disciple 33 ‘Dear Raven.’ A project, not a persona. Vocals are AI (Suno) my role was melody, instrument prompting, and songwriting, not performance. Cover art uses an old photo of me with long hair; the crown of thorns and imagery are my own take on resurrection and reinvention, not satanic or occult. Song and album cover largely inspired by @omardoom I’m a songwriter before I’m a musician, AI is just the tool I used to hear it.
