*sigh* So I’m missing @AtlantaTechWeek and @Renderatl this year and I am not okay about it.

Last year I walked into rooms knowing nobody and left with connections I am still building on today.

Rooms pull something out of you that sitting at home never will.

If you have been waiting until you feel ready, until you know more people, until you have a bigger following, until the timing is right - then you need to hear this:

THE TIMING IS NEVER GOING TO BE PERFECT!

You just have to go. I’m rooting for you!

being a baddie is so much bigger than looks and really about how you feel about you

Each day we brace ourselves for all the change that is bound to happen while life happens and remain rooted in love. we’re coming up on being together for 10 years and we have experienced so many versions of ourselves.

small things turn into big things and sometimes all we have to do is pay attention

it’s easier to say you’re healed when you isolate and stay away from people. go be apart of something, do something and you’ll really see where you are.

as a chronically ill girl, I have learned how to exercise my right to see a doctor when I’m not feeling well. this is your reminder that you don’t have to suffer and you can talk to a professional about it especially if you have coverage

I love the Libby app and try to bring it up during any conversation around books. I’ve read more in my 30’s than I’ve done before and it’s opened a new world for me that I didn’t know existed

friendship heartbreak can sometimes leave you feeling unloveable and like you won’t make friends again. I’m here to tell you that it’s far from the truth and there are so many people who can’t wait to have someone like you in their life.
