I bought this cute wee fellow from my friend Tammy who lives in the USA! I got to know her through our mutual passion of making jewelry and through Mikayla @crystal.frequencyart we've both taken her jewelry making course 💗
Thank you so much Tammy, I love this wee cat and its a pleasure to know you! 💐💗

The beauty that continues from unusable fine china is incredible.

A couple months ago I posted about having some China that broke but was too beautiful to simply toss in the trash. Pieces that held stories from decades past and have helped make my business dreams come true. Thankfully, @crystal.frequencyart (and a couple hobby mosaic makers) were happy to continue the stories of these pieces.

I’m so grateful that there is life left from the pieces I can no longer rent to my clients. Thank you so much, Mikayla, for picking the perfect little section just for me 🥰😍 I absolutely adore it and feel so special!

In past years, I wouldn’t pair an oversized blouse with a flowy skirt for fear of it being “unflattering” or making me look bigger. Lately, though, I’ve been really leaning into these items for comfort and for the vibes. 🔥 I just love it so much and I feel very earthy mama in it. To bring a little structure and intentionality back into the looser silhouette, I used some layering necklaces, my fave silver earrings from @matatraders , and a fun pink lipstick.

Entire outfit thrifted 🩷

Without the same large marketing budgets, I sometimes find it's hard to discover small makers to shop from for sustainable options. So I've been collecting and following small makers as I come across them or see their items on other people. Here are my jewellery favorites! 📿

✨@hattiebuzzardjewellery - based in London, UK

✨@_creature.comforts_ - based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

✨@crystal.frequencyart - also has ceramic jewelry classes and mosaic kits! based in Holly, Michigan

✨@sundayoddities - based out of Canada

✨@poppylangridgejewellery - based out of Glasgow, Scotland

✨@lizfoxroseberry - based out of Texas, US

All the artists offer shipping and many have custom order options, so check that out if it interests you!

I'm always looking for options like this, so please let me know of any small makers you like or are on your wishlist!

Disclaimer - I don't currently own any pieces by these artists, however, they are all ones I enjoy following and have considered buying pieces from in the future.
