Even if you can travel anywhere in the world, I’d still tell everyone to experience a midwest summer at least once in their life over anything. Thank you Iowa for some of the greatest experiences I’ve had in my whole life. I never expected to fall in love with this place the way I did with Iowa and it’s been the best experience. I have met lifelong friends and made memories that are absolutely unbeatable and I owe it all to this place. I think about what I’ve learned here over these years and there is so much but I can confidently say the best thing I learned here was to take pride in yourself and all of your accomplishments no matter how small or big. This place taught me so much about who I am and who I strive to be. For that, I thank the University of Iowa and the people that have been by my side while supporting me and the goals I have. I have felt unconditionally loved by the people here and there’s nothing more I could ask for in this life. There really is so much I could say about how in love I am with this beautiful place. I am truly beyond blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity to live somewhere brand new and meet so many different people that turned out to be my best friends. Iowa, I will truly love you for a long time💛
