Allow me to reintroduce myself… Hi! Holly here, I am the person that creates everything you see from Violet Cravt. I just celebrated 4 wonderful years being a part of this expansive community as an artist and small business owner. It’s been an incredible journey, tapping into parts of my soul and having the opportunity to connect with individuals I could never imagine my life without. I thought I was well overdo for all my new friends and followers to do an intro post ✨. Violet Cravt bloomed from a place of life altering change - new motherhood. Formally, I was an educator for Paul Mitchell, traveling all over the country sharing my love and passion for the beauty industry. I also (and still do) work behind the chair, helping the world feel more confident with themselves and allowing their outsides to reflect their insides. When news arrived that I was to become a vessel and portal to my daughter, bringing her earth side, I stepped back from education in order to be present for her in the next phase to come. Fast forward to when she was 5 months old. I found myself with an insatiable need for something creative to keep my hands and mind busy. I felt a pull to working with precious stones and crystals. Insert electroforming. I discovered this technique and became completely enthralled with it. I spent countless hours researching and experimenting until I felt confident sharing my art with the world. From that, Violet Cravt was born. Named in honor of my daughter, Violet, without whom none of this would have come to be. My goal for this upcoming year is to incorporate silver as an offering from my brand. A long term goal I have is a brick and mortar shop. I envision it as a home for all things dark, from antiques to taxidermy to jewelry to apparel to minerals to an apothecary. It would feature a blend of artists who value community over competition, something that is essential to me. Keep growing. Keep learning. Keep connecting. There is so much in this world left to be explored and I love the journey that life keeps sending me on. Tagged are some of my most loved creatives I have met along the way.
