Sooo many of you have asked where this is since I put it on my story 👀🧂🤍

I took Robert for a little wellness evening to one of my favourite places and honestly, it’s the BEST 50 minutes of doing absolutely nothing 😂

You literally sit back in the salt cave, switch off and breathe in the salt air while the chairs massage and vibrate. I personally LOVE the vibrating chair… as you can probably hear, Robert absolutely did not 🤣🤣

It’s called halotherapy, where tiny dry salt particles are released into the air for you to breathe in. People use salt therapy for respiratory wellbeing, congestion and allergies, as it may help loosen mucus and make it easier to clear the airways. 🫁✨

They also have a more intensive option where a higher concentration of salt particles is released for more targeted respiratory support, which can be used by some people living with conditions such as COPD.*

But for me, it’s also just the RESET. 🤍

50 minutes. No phone. No rushing around. Just sitting, breathing, relaxing and actually switching my brain off for a minute.

Honestly one of my favourite little wellness finds 🧂✨

✨ A LITTLE WELLNESS ESCAPE ✨

Ever heard of a salt cave? 🧂🤍 We recently visited @crystalsaltcaveuk in Borehamwood and stepped into their dedicated family room for a little wellness experience!

They offer salt therapy (halotherapy), where you relax in a salt room and breathe in tiny salt particles in a calming environment.

We loved that the family room had something for everyone. We could unwind on the massage chairs while Luna and Kai had their own little adventure! 🥰

Luna even got to dig for gems and coins and exchange them for a surprise at the end… her favourite treat? SWEETS, of course! 🍬😂

They also sell wellness goodies, from salt lamps and bath salts to skincare and natural bee-based products. 🛍️ We sampled their honey and couldn’t resist taking home a jar of acacia honey! 🍯

A lovely little experience for both grown-ups and little ones! ✨

Went in with my camera. Apparently left my ability to stay awake at the door🤣 ad -gifted visit.

In all honesty I have been meaning to go to the @crystalsaltcaveuk for a long time & maybe I was a bit small minded & didn’t quite realise the amazing benefits!

Or can help with some many health worries including asthma, mild COPD, relaxing, anxiety & so much more but what honestly BLEW my mind was the fact I felt so relaxed I actually went into such a beautiful relaxing sleep & may have over stayed my welcome🫣

I had to say the owners could t have been nicer if they tried, as you walk in you feel like your on a different world! I am genuinely thinking about getting a package!

They also have special events including sound baths & family events where the kids are all welcome in there family room!

My verdict: Yes it was gifted but I cannot tell you how in shock I was after finding myself so relaxed after a sleep! I was also given lemongrass & lavender heated bean bags that definitely helped also😍 Thankyou so much for having me I will keep recommending this hidden gem!

I bought this raw honey at @crystalsaltcaveuk so I’m going to ferment garlic in it. You have to burp the honey daily so it doesn’t explode while it’s fermenting. It then turns into like a candied type garlic which you eat. This honey is extremely powerful and with garlic added that will be used to keep us strong and healthy all winter 💪 🐝 🍯 I will post an update as I’ve never done this before ❤️

Filming at the @crystalsaltcaveuk. We came from school and enjoyed every minute. Did you know halo therapy can help allergies and coughs and colds and asthma 🫁❤️. It also really helps stress levels so helps to lower your cortisol which is so important!! You can really feel the salt going into your lungs and just doing you a lot of good. There’s also toys for the children to play with and there were gems and coins buried for them to find which they loved 💎 🪙. The actual shop is lovely too 😍🤩 See you again soon. 🍂 A different kind of family day out… 🧂✨

As we head into the change of season, we’ve discovered something a little different to add to our family days-out list — a family salt room in Borehamwood.

We spent 50 minutes inside the salt cave, with little man free to play and explore while we had a chance to slow down too. 🤍

It’s warm, calming, full of benefits and definitely not your typical family activity!

The salt cave experience is designed for families with children up to 12, and they also offer sessions aimed at supporting wellbeing during seasonal changes, including when little ones are prone to things like congestion or hay fever. 🌿

10 years ago, I wouldn’t be spending my time in a salt cave, wearing a headset guiding me through 50mins of yoga nidra, whilst red & blue lights were pulse through my eyelids and ears.

#AD A little family reset at Crystal Salt Cave Borehamwood 🤍✨

Finding places where both parents and children can truly relax isn’t always easy, but this was such a lovely experience for all of us. 🫠✨💆‍♀️💆
We recently visited @crystalsaltcaveuk at Borehamwood.

The cave is made with natural Himalayan and Transylvanian salt and offers halotherapy (dry salt therapy), where tiny pharmaceutical-grade salt particles are dispersed into the air. Many people visit to support their respiratory wellbeing, help with allergies, sinus congestion, asthma, eczema and overall relaxation. While it’s not a replacement for medical treatment, it can be a wonderful complementary wellness experience.

One of the things we loved most was how family-friendly it is. Instead of asking children to sit still, there’s a dedicated play area where little ones can enjoy themselves while parents finally get a chance to switch off, breathe and relax.

Whether you’re looking for a peaceful self-care session or somewhere the whole family can enjoy together, this is definitely worth adding to your list.
