2025 seemed so short until I was scrolling back looking for pictures (my camera roll is 90% cat).

Some highlights!

🗽 Went to NYC for the first time in my adult life and saw so many friends and good art
🫘 Went to Chicago for the first time ever with some SF besties
🚗 Explored my new area including Asheville, Seagrove, Richmond, the NC State Fair, and the NC Renaissance Festival
👋🏻 Made new friends
🎟️ Saw a Broadway show, opera at the Met, Dolly Parton music and Mama Mia in Nashville, and Jesse Welles in a standing room only venue in Durham. Even threw in some sports with an NHL game and baseball.
😺 Pet a lot of animals (including highland cows) & was traumatized by baby birds nesting on my front door
🩵 Got to see family, including my sister's wedding!!!

Celebrating a weekend of a big global race and a little local race. Congrats to our friends who pressed on in the Berlin Marathon heat and our friends at home who ran 53 laps in the Carroll Park Half! You all deserve a stein, a run with only right turns, and many high fives. ✨
