It’s like a hype over dub music in the last years and it’s really well deserved. Some of the more amazing music released nowadays under this big umbrella is really amazing. And you have also reissued some of the genre classics. It’s an always growing thing and some records are still on the way. Like last YL Hooi 12” but here you have some of my last additions. Amazing stuff #dub #dubtechno #ambientelectronic #vinylcommunity #deeplistening

Seeds Mix 014 comes from Emma and Loris of Spritz Editions, the Glasgow tape label spotlighting the city’s own scene. It’s a mix built for walking Pollok Park, Glasgow’s largest green space and the closest place they can go to feel lost amongst trees.

Eighteen tracks run from Symbeline’s Winter School to Susannah Stark & Band’s Duet, taking in Susumu Yokota, Pauline Oliveros, Princess Diana of Wales and one of Loris’s own along the way.

The Q&A covers hair as fertiliser, a mushroom nobody planted and a sycamore with a garden to go with it.

so nice to share some non-club music that makes me feel at home no matter where I am in the world, with my love @bitterbabe_ on @nts_radio for the early bird show…

it felt good after a few landing weeks in my new temporary home in paris (my husky morning voice was unavoidable though)

archived on the NTS site now, head there to listen -

special guest feature from ryu (laura’s cat/ my niece), who was also waking up with us 🪄

thanks for the invite ❤️ @bitterbabe_

This week's playlist theme was ‘Litany’ – music using repetition, rhythmic patterns, hypnotic melodies and repeated phrases. It’s also inspired by a little challenge from Sydney musician and host of fbi's The Bridge, Mara. Knowing my love for the composer Arvo Pärt, Mara dared me to play a different piece of Arvo's music on every show this year and Litany is the title of last night's piece. Listen back on @fbiradio via link in bio.
