Curtain’s Up! Link in bio to the dramatic story behind our epic light change—from Mary Bright’s clouds to nine 20-foot louvres that will sail over the next generation of Gotham diners. The design solution to Gotham’s new lights took a late leap of faith that succeeded through a chance team of a theatrical nature. We owe a debt of gratitude to James Biber for leading us to David Weeks, to David Weeks for leading us to Andrea Lauer, to Rose Brand for supporting Andrea, to Chandler Sante for leading us to Jeff Croiter, to Lydia Hummel for advocating for us all (and her own late nights!), to Melissa Wagner for her promotions and support, and to all the David Weeks Team for their collective brains and brawn in getting us to opening night. We can say that the most challenging aspect of our redesign has turned out to be the most illuminating indeed. 💡 : : 📸 by Alan Tansey
