The bathroom stills you have been waiting for!

I actually hope to reshoot this space without the sun coming in the window. My one camera lens has a crack in it so there’s always a nice sun dot in the right hand corner haha!

Today I woke up itching to start this vanity build…
I hope Darren is ready to be a carpenter again.

Keeping the “big boy” theme on this one as well! Almost a 9ft long hearth laid in two solid pieces lengthwise with off cuts to finish the returns. Pangea fieldstone matched with Pangea natural stone hearth🤩 These hearths are still wet from cutting but will dry to match stone quite nicely👌 also there will be a mantle above installed with same Pangea Hearth Stone. This is a Gem in the making! Fireplace still needs to be grouted with a bit of a darker grey. All stops pulled out on this one.

Part 3 Bathroom Refresh

After applying the stones from @csi_allthingsstone I was ready to tackle the overgrouted look for a vintage European vibe. I used white mortar and built it up in the grooves so it was almost flush with the surface of the rock. The next day I did end up going back over a few spots that I wanted to build up and let dry. After, it was time to stain the white mortar so it looked aged. I used water based stain and diluted even further to create a “wash”. I applied this to the entire wall and made some areas darker than others.

Next, we will trim the window and add the final details.
