On Tuesday, I talked sports, music, and sneakers at the VCU - Center for Sport Leadership. I always appreciate the opportunity to chat with students about my background, experience, and perspective. The highest human act is to inspire. Hopefully I was able to inspire the students and I look forward to seeing the great work they will do in the business.

Thanks to GB for having me and trusting me to add value to the learning experience he is creating!🫡🙏🏾

From preparing the scripts to making sure every senior’s family was on the field this was a game day I won’t forget.

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to serve as the main point of contact for VCU Women’s Soccer Senior Day at City Stadium, home of the Richmond Kickers.

Behind the scenes, I coordinated with VCU and the Richmond Kickers on game timing, scripts, the senior ceremony, flowers, senior frames, and making sure each family was where they needed to be for the on-field celebration.

It was my first time leading a collegiate Senior Day from the marketing side, and seeing everything come together made all the preparation worth it.

A lot goes into creating these moments that fans see for just a few minutes and getting to be part of making that moment special for our seniors was one of my favorite experiences so far.

Congratulations to all of our seniors! #GoRams

Another Game Day Vlog!

My day started with Sociology of Sport before heading into the office for lunch and game-day prep. I printed scripts, got the laptop and equipment ready, and helped with a Rodney drop-off for a local event. I also loaded the frames for Women’s Soccer Senior Day into my car, which will be featured in the next vlog!

Field Hockey hosted St. Louis this past Friday for International Night. We partnered with the Global Education Office to highlight the services and programs available to assist VCU students, faculty, and staff.

Another game day in the books!

Game day for Women’s Soccer!

Thursday morning started with Leadership Models in Sports, where I delivered my sales pitch on why adaptability is one of the most important qualities of a leader.

Then, VCU Women’s Soccer hosted St. Bonaventure, and it was my first time serving as the direct marketing contact for the game. I was solely responsible for the music, scripts, PA cues, national anthem, goal songs and my interns throughout the game.

After the game, we headed to the Siegel Center for the RVA Sports Executive Social.

A busy, exciting day filled with leadership, game-day experience, and opportunities to continue growing in sports!

Preparation is just as hard as the game. With the departure of my boss, my GA partner and I have had to take on additional responsibilities.
I currently oversee marketing for Women’s Soccer and Field Hockey, which includes serving as the main point of contact for both sports, attending meetings, and managing game-day responsibilities.

Along with managing our undergraduate interns!

just when i thought i was out… they pull me back in 🐏

I am excited and beyond blessed to share that I am returning to VCU Athletics full-time as a Creative Content Coordinator.

I’ll be primarily covering VCU’s Olympic sports, showcasing these programs and the awesome people who make them.

Shoutout to @cslatvcu for their guidance and all they’ve taught me over this past year, and another round of thanks goes to @evan_nicely, @devin_summer and @banksmade for the same things + the opportunity to return to this incredible squad.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t shoutout @binghamtonsmg alongside all of the great people from @binghamtonathletics as well.

Thrilled to get started. Go Rams 🫡🐏

Happy game day!

Come along with me for a day in the life as a CSL student — from class, to lunch, to the lounge, and finally to the field for game day.

VCU Men’s Soccer hosted UCF, and I got to experience it all from behind the scenes.

Follow along for more of my journey at VCU. Go Rams!

This past weekend, I got to take you behind the scenes with the help of my Meta Glasses as we covered a full day of VCU Volleyball.

The day started with William & Mary vs. ETSU at 2 PM, followed by VCU vs. UVA at 6 PM. Throughout the day, we debuted a new starting lineup hype video along with new special effects to elevate the game-day experience.

Alongside my GA partner, I was responsible for cueing PA announcements, deciding what content went on the video board, coordinating banners and lighting effects, and cueing the band throughout the game.

To top it all off, VCU Volleyball broke the all-time attendance record!

It was a busy, exciting, and incredibly fun weekend getting to see everything that goes into creating a great game-day experience from behind the scenes.
