✨ A little piece of Narnia, painted into existence. ❄️🦁

A Narnia-inspired artwork, created with poster colours on a big frame, taking me 9 hours to bring this magical world to life. 🎨

A wooden wardrobe opening into a snowy wonderland, trees covered in white, and the iconic lamp post glowing golden yellow in the middle of it all. And there she is, Lucy Pevensie, in her red skirt and yellow sweater, standing beneath the light, taking in the world she never expected to find. 🧥💛

Somewhere between the snow, the warm glow of the lamp post, and the magic of that first step into Narnia, this scene will always feel like a dream. ✨

“Always winter, never Christmas.” ❄️

✨ Did you know that C.S. Lewis once sat in our bar at The Glyde Inn? 📚🌊

There’s more to The Glyde Inn than great food and a beautiful sea view — we’re part of a story that connects Annagassan with one of the world’s most celebrated authors!

Imagine the conversations, the characters and the inspiration that may have passed through our doors. A little piece of literary history, right here in our own corner of County Louth. 💚

Next time you visit, take a seat, soak up the atmosphere and imagine C.S. Lewis sitting right where you are!

Agora me conta: qual desses você já leu? E qual livro do C. S. Lewis recomendaria para quem está começando? 📖💙

📍ENGLAND 🇬🇧

Double Decker Buses 🚌
Old Bookshops 📚
History 🏰
Biking Around London 🚲
My last stop ✈️

…but my favorite part? Living out a little literary dream.

I spent time in London and Oxford, got to see family, and basically romanticized my life for a few days. No regrets.

A few things I’ll never forget:
• Riding a double decker bus because I will always be a tourist at heart 🥹
• Visiting The Lamb & Flag in Oxford, where C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien spent time, and I sophisticatedly drank wine + realized being alone after 8 months felt strange🍷
• Wandering around Oxford and imagining what it would be like to study theology and literature there. Someone get me a tweed jacket. (Yes, look up what this is)
• Biking around London with my family was the perfect way to see the city 🌉
• Seeing family after 10 years and visiting my YWAM leaders who were part of my DTS season ❤️

England felt like stepping into a book for a little while. Between the history, architecture, literature, and family time, it was such a sweet part of the adventure. This is was my last stop of my 8 month journey and it was such a gift.

London, I’ll be back… maybe I’ll settle xx

10/23/2026: Kindness is not the only tool. Sometimes a man has to carry both.
Not every problem yields to softness. There are times when protection, clear boundaries, and the willingness to stand firm are what love actually requires. The man who only knows how to be gentle will fail the people who need him to be strong. The man who only knows how to fight will break what he was meant to guard. Both are needed.

Old Testament Verses:
1. Genesis 3:24: “So He drove the man out; and at the east of the Garden of Eden He stationed the cherubim and the flaming sword which turned every direction to guard the way to the tree of life.” (NASB 2020)
2. Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or in dread of them, for the Lord your God is the One who is going with you. He will not desert you or abandon you.” (NASB 2020)
New Testament Verses:
1. Ephesians 6:11-12: “Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (NASB 2020)
2. Matthew 10:34: “Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.” (NASB 2020)
Author Bio
This line is widely shared as C.S. Lewis, but it does not appear in his verified writings. Lewis did write that love is “more stern and splendid than mere kindness,” and he understood that protection and truth sometimes require strength. The practical point stands even if the exact wording is not his.

#NARNIA can’t imagine growing up all over again The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe follows four siblings-Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy-who are evacuated from London during World War Il to a grand country house, where Lucy discovers a magical, snowbound world named Narnia inside an old wardrobe. The land is trapped in a permanent winter by the tyrannical White Witch, who lures the spiteful Edmund into betraying his siblings for power and enchanted Turkish Delight. To save Edmund and free Narnia, the remaining children unite with the majestic lion Aslan, the true ruler of Narnia, who willingly sacrifices his own life on the Stone Table to pay for Edmund’s treachery. Aslan returns from the dead through a deeper ancient magic, helping Peter lead the Narnian forces to victory in a climactic battle against the Witch; the four children are subsequently crowned kings and queens, ruling over a golden age until they accidentally tumble back through the wardrobe into England, where no time has passed. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008) follows the Pevensie siblings-Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy —as they are magically summoned back to Narnia one year after their first adventure. However, 1,300 years have passed in Narnian time. They find the land under the tyrannical rule of the Telmarines, who have driven the magical creatures into hiding. The siblings join forces with Prince Caspian, the rightful Telmarine heir fleeing his murderous uncle, King Miraz. Together, they lead a rebellion to defeat the Telmarine army, restore freedom to Narnia, and place Caspian on his throne. #chroniclesofnarnia #bookstagram #runaway #aurora
