POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I restarted this account in April with only 100 followers. So thanks for choosing to follow me & for the kind comments/DMs. They’re very much appreciated! ✨I figured it’s about time I show my face & a part of who I am so you guys have a sense of who you’re connecting with.

My name is Chelsea Soriano-Leon. I’m 21-years old. I turned 21 this February (I’m an Aquarius). I live in Brooklyn, NY, USA; born and raised. I was a full-time retail employee before this pandemic. I’m currently waiting to graduate from a community college in late May; graduating with a liberal arts associates degree because I still don’t know what the fuck I want to do with my life.
My parents are from Mexico which makes me Mexican-American. I fall more in love with Mexico every time I visit. I grew up Catholic but overtime I’ve sorta faded away from it. Not because I don’t believe but because I’ve grown interest in Buddhism. As a Catholic, you’re not supposed to believe in reincarnation which is what I believe in. Will I turn Buddhist in the future? There’s a possibility but it’s not my main focus right now.
I’m a big fan of horror and gore. I love learning about history. I stand with immigrants. I stand with the LBGTQ+ community. I stand with the blacklivesmatter movement.
I like to think I’m a realist but I’m definitely not an optimist. My favorite animals are elephants & butterflies. I love green & yellow. I don’t like flowers much with the only exception of tulips. I’d rather spend time with myself than with others. Usually when I do prefer to be around a lot of people it’s to distract my mind from unsettling thoughts. But I’m super family-orientated. I love my family so much.
I believe that if someone REALLY wants to do something, then they will. If they don’t, then they won’t. This applies to anything & everything. I also believe it’s the small things that matter the most.
That’s all for now but I’ll be posting random stuff about myself along the way.
Hope you’re all staying safe & sane 💛

Tonight I attended a silent protest. It was a vigil for the black lives that were taken from authority brutality. After half an hour of sitting in silence, the protest turned into a march with chants and energy. It was such a bittersweet feeling.
It was bitter because what the fuck man, we shouldn’t have to protest for justice + equality... it’s 2020 and times haven’t changed much. It’s so sad. Let’s forget that the majority of my friends are black. This is an issue that EVERYONE should give a fuck about. Do NOT turn a blind eye just because this doesn’t directly impact your life.
It was sweet because so so so many people united to stand and fight for what they believe in. I live in a predominately white area so seeing all the white peoples take part of the #blacklivesmatter movement was kind of surprising to be honest.
I walked the protest for about 2 hrs because if I didn’t get home soon my mama was gonna kill me before the streets did lol.
BUT I am completely disgusted with the silence I am seeing from so many people on my Instagram (prose ig and personal ig). I repeat, PLEASE DO NOT turn a blind eye. Do not remain silent. You don’t have to attend a protest. You can donate to bail bonds. You can sign petitions. You can do much. Don’t stay silent. Because it will be your silence that allows history to repeat itself.
And if you DON’T stand with the BLM movement, please unfollow me. If this causes people to unfollow me and no longer support my work, that’s fine. I don’t have space for ignorance.
