Billy Ocean 🩵🌊🌀🐚

Thanks for finally joining us little buddy. The past week with our tiny little son.

Born peacefully at home under the March New Moon. In his 42nd week after a beach walk & ocean dip, my hub/ BFF/ quite literally my anchor by my side the whole way, supporting every inch of my birthing wishes. Honestly @dannyleooooo you are the best doula & birth support I could ever dream of. Particularly when we discovered Billy was presenting breach (bum first) - you never once left my side nor questioned or lost trust in my abilities or intuition. You shielded any concerns you may have had to ensure my mind set remained calm & in control. You really are the most incredible man ♥️

Supported by our 2 dear friends @biancatredrea @izzyroseangel - aka Doula Sissys who held us both with their hands, hearts & full faith in the unassisted free birth we had set our hearts on. Thank you for being so excited to join us on this journey. For being on stand by for nights on end as my labour stopped & started for a whole week. Multiple false alarms. Tucking our kids into bed while I laboured, squeezing my hips, rubbing my back, taking footage, catching my vomit with the bucket 😆 you name it. You girls were AMAZING.

We love you both so much & can’t imagine his birth without you in it.

Waiting over 10 whole months for baby boys arrival, and what a force he was when he finally decided to join the party 🍑 Teaching me patience & surrender like I would not believe.

Big bro & sis absolutely obsessed, grandparents besotted helping with food, school drops off & pick ups, washing etc & the best neighbours helping with the kids when we need #VILLAGE

Thank you so much to the friends/ fam that have dropped off some cooked meals to help of an evening as we integrate Billy into our chaotic home. This kind of support goes more then miles. Thanks for all the love over the last couple wks that I’m yet to reply to. Not a single msg has gone unnoticed. We’ve been so deep in this bubble 🫧 Not sure I’ll ever resurface the same 😍🤍

🪷🐍🌴💚 Such a nice season to reflect. My dad over Christmas “you know we’ve been here 29 years now” Wow what? 29 years of our magic family jungle!!! So crazy to think 29 years ago this was vacant land with a few gum trees, which my dad quite literally grew and transformed with his own 2 hands. The land that taught us to swim, climb trees, light bonfires, ride motorbikes, build fortes, that witnessed me sneak out way more times then I should probably ever admit 😇 Nurtured many tears of the ups & downs. And manyyy epic jungle parties watching us dance & swim til the sun rose. Both Jimi & Cherry conceived here, 🍒 birthed here, & now our 3rd babe connected and tuning in here. The kind of land where the air is crisp clean. You get out of the car and take a deep breath in and automatically sigh “ahhhh” (smell THAT 🍃) I really believe this jungle plays a huge role in my love for animals & the earth & the calling to listen & observe what mama nature has to say. Deepest gratitude to my amazing parents for working so hard to provide us with such a wonderful adventurous & safe environment to grow up in. Such a privilege. Something I aspire toward every single day 🙏🏽 No matter where in the country we move and adventure to, the jungle will always hold my heart. Thank you Mum & Dad 💚🙏🏽🫶🏽🌴🪷
