What an incredible week at the 2026 Bowls USA National Championships! 🏆🇺🇸

Hosted right here at Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club, we had the privilege of watching 48 of the best bowlers in the country compete over four days of incredible bowling.

Skill. Precision. Endurance. Strategy. And plenty of moments that reminded us just how good this sport can be. 🎯

Congratulations to every athlete who earned their place at Nationals and gave us an amazing week of competition, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.

We’re incredibly proud to have hosted the National Championships for the second year in a row — and even prouder to have welcomed everyone to our little corner of the Pacific for a week of bowling by the sea. 🌊

Thanks for the memories. ❤️

What a week to remember!

The 2026 Nationals Are Officially Underway 🇺🇸🏆

It was a day of pomp and circumstance as Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club officially welcomed the 48 athletes who earned their place at the 2026 Bowls USA National Championships.

The Opening Ceremony began with a processional led by Piper Chrisy Orcholski, representing athletes from all seven Bowls USA divisions, accompanied by the Laguna Beach Police Honor Guard. The ceremony continued with the National Anthem, sung by Dee McSparran, followed by remarks from Master of Ceremonies Scott Roberts, SW Division President John Billon, National Committee Chairperson Ginger Harris, Bowls USA President Pam Edwards, and Laguna Beach City Mayor Mark Orgill.

Then came the moment that officially set the Championships in motion: Mayor Mark Orgill rolled the first jack, followed by Nancy Santos delivering the first bowl. 🎯

And with that, the 2026 Bowls USA National Championships are officially underway!

LBLBC is proud to host this prestigious national event for the second consecutive year and to welcome the finest competitors from across the country to our greens overlooking the Pacific.

Best of luck to all 48 contenders. Let the competition begin! 🇺🇸🌊🏆

1 year ago we celebrated the life of Fez Whatley. I feel so grateful to have been able to join @benningtonsxm & the gang in NY to share the love of Fezzie. Fez Con, much like Fez, will never be forgotten.
