This has been such an awesome semester!! Along with being a full-time student, I took on three part-time jobs and a musical. It was chaotic, but I’m so thankful for all of it. Hoping for more time like this and wishing you and your family good vibes into 2026! 🍀💚

In this season of giving, one of my favorite traditions is supporting the @crittentonsocal Angel Tree Program, and this afternoon, I stopped by their office to drop off a few presents! 🎁🎄💫

Since I was a kid, I loved when Crittenton came to my church each year and picking out a foster child’s wish to fulfill. And in my four years of high school, my PTSA student leadership team partnered with Crittenton to provide over 40 gifts annually.

Last year, as PSSA Vice President, I introduced this meaningful tradition to my club, and this year as President, I’m so proud that my VP and our members have continued to support the program. Moreover, we also contributed hygiene products for holiday dignity baskets, spreading joy and hope to families in need.

From its humble beginnings as a six-bed home for unwed teen mothers, Crittenton has grown into a nationally accredited behavioral health and child welfare organization, serving about 2,000 clients annually. Their mission focuses on building resiliency to help youth and families achieve permanency, stability, safety, and well-being.

By addressing the needs of those they serve, Crittenton is dedicated to breaking cycles of generational system involvement and healing childhood trauma within communities. Programs like the Angel Tree Program provide an opportunity to connect with this mission while bringing holiday joy to foster children and families in need.

You Are Loved Every Day 💖

A huge part of the service pillar of the Miss America Organization is about advocating for our personal Community Service Initiative, but this pillar is also about service in all forms. By being present, empathetic, and intentional, going out to volunteer cultivates a better understanding of the world around you and sets a powerful example, especially for younger generations.

This past weekend, I volunteered with my fellow CSUF President Scholars at PATH Orange County Kitchen, where we prepared homemade meals and sorted clothing donations for those in need, offering hope and a touch of warmth in their lives. It’s more than just food or clothing; it’s a gesture of care and a way to give back to our community.

PATH’s mission is to help people find permanent housing and provide case management, medical and mental healthcare, benefits advocacy, employment training, and other services to help them have stable home residency. In their 40 years of “making it home,” PATH has provided services in more than 150 cities in five regions and have more than 2,400 units of permanent supportive housing completed or in progress. After volunteering with @pathpartners, I can attest to the love and care that goes into fulfilling their mission at YALE Navigation Center and beyond.

I cannot wait to continue fostering relationships with this wonderful community at upcoming events, but for now, I wanted to introduce more about myself! I am a 3rd year undergraduate at California State University, Fullerton pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. After I graduate, I plan to attend medical school and become a healthcare professional, potentially specializing in anesthesiology.

I am currently:

🐘 President Scholar at CSUF

📚VP of President Scholar Student Association

🩺 VP of Student Health Professions Association

🧪 Medicinal Chemistry Research Assistant in Dr. Stevan Pecic’s lab, designing and analyzing donepezil-based analogs as potential therapeutic treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.

🧫 Social Media for Chemistry & Biochemistry Club

Being involved on campus has been such a joy because of the friendships I’ve made and the opportunities available at CSUF!
