About last night… ✨

There’s something so magical about spending a Friday night among fellow Rams at Festival on the Oval and Friday Night Lights during Homecoming & Family Weekend. 💚

And we’re back at it today in a sold out Canvas Stadium as @CSUFootball takes on Oregon State in our FIRST @Pac12Conference matchup!

See you out there again and GO RAMS! 🐏

As the leaves on the Oval begin to turn, there's something special about gathering for our annual Fall Address and University Picnic 🍂 🐏

“The great democratic promise of a public higher education is that knowledge should not be the province of the privileged few. It should be pursued at the highest levels and shared broadly across geography, circumstances and across generations. That’s why access and excellence will never be competing ideas at CSU. Our responsibility is to hold both aspirations at once." - CSU President Amy Parsons

During her address, she described the work our faculty do as both difficult and indispensable. She also spoke about CSU entering the fall season with great momentum by bringing in more than $613 million in research funding, continuing top rankings for sustainability, welcoming one of the largest, most academically qualified classes of first-year students in CSU history, setting a new record for student retention last year, seeing graduation rates that continue to climb, celebrating 50 years of El Centro and the Black/African American Cultural Center, and CSU's first year in the Pac-12.
