Last week, two of our brothers @bishopamer and @samstein_13 had the incredible honor of representing California Tau at the Ruck Leadership Institute, held at our founding college, the University of Richmond. With over 12,000 active SigEp brothers nationwide, only around 150 were selected this year to attend Ruck, an immersive 5-day leadership experience designed to challenge and empower our fraternity’s top leaders.

Here’s what they had to say:

“The Ruck Leadership Institute was truly life changing. Words can’t capture the impact it’s already had on me. Our facilitators were the definition of role models, embodying SigEp’s values and teaching us how to lead with integrity, compassion, and strength. I made friendships I know will last a lifetime, and even now I miss the energy and wisdom of the group I was lucky to be part of. Through Ruck, I saw firsthand how SigEp lives its mission and works to better the world through brotherhood, and I’ve never been prouder to wear these letters.” — Sam Stein

“Throughout the week, we engaged in high impact leadership activities: ropes courses, chapter reflection, SWOT planning, and personal feedback from mentors on our leadership styles. I left Ruck with actionable tools, renewed confidence, and a deeper sense of purpose. I’m beyond grateful to be part of a fraternity that invests so deeply in its members. Proud to rep California Tau and a Team Chuck ‘25er for life.” — Bishop Davis

Big shoutout to Bishop and Sam for not just representing us, but living out what it means to be a SigEp leader! #sigep #sigepslo #balancedmen

Carlson Leadership Academy- San Jose 2025🤝

This past weekend, the executive board of SigEp Cal Mu traveled to San Jose for the annual Carlson Leadership Academy.

The weekend was filled with opportunities for our president and vice presidents to learn new skills on how to make our chapter the best and largest on our campus. Cal Mu also got to meet and collaborate with executive boards from other chapters such as @sigepcsusb and @csunsigep .

We are excited to continue setting the example with the tools we learned from San Jose.
