LA 🌴 ——> ATX 🤠

In 2019 I moved across the country from Cleveland to Los Angeles. I always think back to when I was leaving, telling friends and family “I’ll just be there a year or two”. I never imagined I’d call this place home for a full five years. 😳

LA has challenged me in many ways. Living in a big city for the first time (knowing very few people) along with the pandemic shutting the world down months after my arrival made for a rocky start. I was left jobless along with many other fitness professionals. But there was no better place and no better people (you know who you are) to inspire and encourage me to get creative. A very scary time turned into a very memorable year. I cultivated my passion for fitness and created an online community in an effort to help so many in need of fitness guidance during the pandemic. I gained the confidence to lead and help others - a reason I moved out to LA in the first place.

As the world opened back up, the demand for group fitness skyrocketed. I was fortunate enough to be welcomed into @megaformerstudio as an instructor, what I believe to be the best Lagree studio in the country! 😉 I’m grateful to have met some of my closest friends here.

When I found @trainbunda in 2021, I quickly fell in love with the workout and the people. I began teaching in 2023, and it has changed my life in more ways than one (more on that later). 🤭 This place is beyond special and my fellow instructors and clients have become some of my very favorite people.

While living in LA, I met friends I’ll have for a lifetime, and I married the love of my life. I’ve gotten to live a life that on many days felt like vacation. I’ll miss it here, but I’m leaving feeling beyond grateful for the opportunities this city has given me - including the one that’s next….

@legreatoutdoor feels like you’re on vacation in the Med and stumble into someone’s backyard and they invite you to their family bbq and their dad’s a fisherman that caught this snapper in the morning and grew the vegetables on their land and just put a lot of love in the food. You know?
