Today marks six years without @tygchow 💙

I didn’t get nearly enough time with him, and that never gets easier. Six years later I still catch myself thinking about what it would’ve been like if he got to see me — like how terrible of a driver I am 😂 or watching me compete in golf tournaments. One day on the PGA TOUR, on TV, and I know he would’ve been watching.

He had his faults like we all do, but none of that changes how much I miss him.

Ty Guy — we all miss you more than words. We hope God’s taking good care of you up there, and that you’re still watching down on us every single day.

Love you Uncle Ty. Rest easy. 🕊️

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.
This year hit me in a different way. Made me realize just how blessed I am, even when life’s hit harder than a freight train. It ain’t perfect — never expected it to be — but God’s been ridin’ shotgun my whole life, steady through every mile. I’ve had six years that tried to throw me clean off, but I held on. And in between the hard hits, God kept slipping blessings into my story. Funny how we stare so hard at the dirt and forget to look up at the sunrise He’s putting right in front of us. I’ve got a family that answers the phone any hour, friends who’d pull up in the middle of nowhere for me, a roof over my head, and the chance to roll across this country and see God’s creation with the ones I love. That’s more than enough. Wouldn’t trade a mile of my road. The struggles built my strength, the good moments built my gratitude, and God walked with me through every bit of it.

God is gracious. His mercy is steady, His presence is real, and He’s never once let go of the wheel. God bless everybody, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Dear Dad, Happy 49th birthday.
In silence and sorrow, your love is a thread,
Woven through hearts, never to fade,
Your presence, a warmth, forever laid.

Though years have passed, and you’re far away,
In every moment, we feel you stay,
A love so deep, it knows no end,
In our hearts, your spirit will transcend.

Each day without you, a bittersweet song,
A melody of memories, where we belong,
Yet joy is fleeting, happiness incomplete,
Until the day we meet again, our love replete.

Forever missed, forever in our hearts,
Your love, a beacon, guiding us through the dark.
