“It’s been a long time, we shouldn’t have left you!” So we are BACK after a World Cup hiatus at Crooks, and we are back with a bang:

One month from today on August 15th, we’ve got underground hip hop producing and DJing icon, J Rawls, who you may know from hits with Black Star, Coast Contra and much more. He’s coming down from Columbus where he will bring his thorough and academic approach (he’s also a professor of hip hop at Ohio State) to rare vinyl that will school you no doubt.

Speaking of underground kings, he will be joined by one of the top indie hip hop mix show DJs in the country, ATL’s Jon Doe. From producing with Prophetix, DOOM and more, to his current hit show Southern Vanguard with our guy Eddie Meeks, Doe is guaranteed to bring out the vinyl treats for your listening pleasure.

And then we have the return of the prodigal son: It’s Dj Dainja, co-founder of Crafts and Crates, who is visiting back from Brooklyn to wreck the stage. He’ll bring the heat he usually brings to Beatminerz Radio, plus his long history in the A with Psyche Origami and back to the days of Mic Aggression and Dumpster Dive. Expect the unexpected.

You know the home team aka the dynamic duo, Mafioso and Peppermint Gatty, are gonna throw down as well so be there for all four hours as they always bring the vibes! Adding to the crazy lineup, we got our hermano AOS Fresh holding down the hosting duties. Plus our partners JB’s Records are going to pop up with us like always so you’ll be able to browse vinyl to your heart’s content. Halfway Crooks will have the freshest beer in the A, plus cocktails and delicious food for sale.

And the best part? There’s ZERO cover to get in and it’s for all ages, so come out on August 15th and get what you’ve been missing for the last couple of months. Peace and see you then! #CraftsAndCrates

Of course we’ll have our brothers @jbsrecord popping up with us to sell wax and the best beer in the A on sale from our hosts @halfwaycrooksbeer , plus cocktails and food. And the best part?? Admission is ********* FREE and for all ages. Can’t beat that! So join us. See you then!

We are back with a dope lineup for the Fall, and the vibes are gonna be CRISPY!!
We have ATL underground stalwart @rock_most headlining on the wheels, who has been moving crowds from the days of being the leader of MSeize to being a top selector today. And joining him on the bill will be b-boy motivator @_mightypaul_ . Our home team dynamic duo of @peppermint_gatty and @mafiloko round out the lineup with their dope selections so this is definitely a can’t miss edition of Crafts and Crates.

It all goes down in less than two weeks, Saturday November 15th from 3pm to 7pm at @halfwaycrooksbeer Biergarten. As always, attendance is FREE for all ages and we’ll have our partners @jbsrecord popping up with us to sell wax for you vinyl fiends. And come hungry and thirsty, because the best beer in the A will be on sale plus cocktails and food. See you soon! Peace
