Art is essential to our well-being.

That’s why the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, the Center for Community Well-Being, and Center Theatre Group are teaming up to break down barriers and make live theatre more accessible to our community.

Through this partnership, YMCA members will have access to
🎟️ Free tickets to select performances on CTG’s stages
🎭 Theatre workshops led by local professional teaching artists
🛠️ Hands-on exposure and mentorship to theatre careers
📣 and ¡SÍ SE PUEDE! live at the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA

Because at every age and every stage, all Angelenos deserve the opportunity to create, connect, and belong.

🎭✊ ¡Sí Se Puede! (Now Playing)

📍 Los Angeles, CA | Schools & Community Spaces
📅 October 24 - November 8, 2026

Center Theatre Group brings back ¡Sí Se Puede!, a theatrical presentation celebrating the life and legacy of Dolores Huerta, following popular demand.

From co-founding the United Farm Workers alongside César Chávez to organizing boycotts, marches, and historic labor negotiations, Huerta helped transform the fight for workers’ rights and social justice in America.

Bringing her story directly into schools and community spaces, ¡Sí Se Puede! introduces audiences to the power of activism, collective action, perseverance, and the belief that ordinary people can create extraordinary change.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Center Theatre Group’s Student Ambassador event! It was great to bring together high school juniors and seniors from across Los Angeles County to connect through theatre, leadership, and community engagement.
We’re excited for the program ahead and all the conversations to come.
