It’s hard to believe it’s already been a week since we moved C-Rob into his dorm at USC. We left him unpacking and organizing.
He rolled his eyes when I put the pillow of Cecil and me on his bed and I’m sure it was shoved under the bed as soon as we left! 😆
Classes started Tuesday and he had a great week! ❤️🖤🤙🏽

It’s hard to believe this chapter has come to an end. From K3 to graduation day, you have walked the halls of Calhoun Academy for 15 years. Even more special, 6 of your OG K3 friends crossed the stage with you Friday night. What a gift that is.

We are beyond blessed to be your parents and so incredibly proud of the young man you have become.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are filled with gratitude for every person who helped shape your journey along the way…grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, teachers, coaches, friends, and parents and grandparents of friends who have loved and supported you like their own. We thank them for encouraging you in academics, athletics, leadership, and life.

Thankful for lifelong friendships. The little K3 crew that started it all, the friends made along the way, and even the ones who may live far away but will always hold a special place in your story.

And we are thankful for the memories. Friday night lights, basketball games, baseball games, rounds of golf, early mornings and late nights, school programs, trips and dances, family vacations, cruises and camping trips, summers at the beach and on the boat, lake days and weekends at the river, Carolina games, late nights with friends, and all the moments in between that somehow went by too fast.

Some parents never have the opportunity to experience this moment, for one reason or another. Closing this chapter is the next step for us and I am forever grateful. The only thing I’m grieving is how fast we got here!

Now it’s on to the next journey at the University of South Carolina, and we know great things are ahead for you in Columbia.

Praying that God guides your hands and steps, and blesses you, and each of your friends in the Class of 2026, for many years to come, wherever life takes you.

Congratulations to one of Coop’s friends who truly became family over the years! These three have been close ever since Brantley joined their class back in 6th grade, and tonight C-Rob and Coop got to watch their boy walk across that stage and say farewell to high school. 🎓💙

We love you, Buddy, and we’re so proud of the young man you’ve become. It’s been special watching this friendship grow through all the years, and we pray you boys stay close as life takes you into this next chapter and beyond. 💙
