What an incredible few weeks it's been! Here we are now at five years to forever for these two. I remember the day Emma Presley walked into the kitchen and shared she had seen Brenden for the first time. It was the beginning of her sophomore year of high school. "There is a cute boy in my class." I immediately asked his name, but she didn't yet know. Here we are, five years later, three of them long distance, and these high school and college sweethearts are still perfect together. We have watched them grow and love each other well in each stage and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for their life together. We love this young man, and have considered him part of our family for a long time already, so now let's make it official!!

Will Aaron, I am so grateful to God for every trial and triumph that led me to you. You are immeasurably more than I could have ever imagined. The Lord has used you in my life in the most impactful ways and because of that I know what it is to be fully known, cherished, safe, and loved. I am so honored and cannot wait to be your wife!!!!!!!

We combined Parents' Weekend with a "We Miss College" weekend and had a blast with these girls! So blessed to spend time with Emma Presley's roommates and their families and know each of them, and so blessed to catch up with Teddy Grace's crew and hear about their first year post-grad - all Phi Mus, all beautiful, all smart - all Business Majors for the undergrads and in the "We Miss College" crew: an engineer, a data analyst, a nurse, two first grade teachers, one working in Finance, two in PA school, two working in sales with one MBA just completed. So proud of them!! Everyone needs a good girls' weekend every once in a while. Can't wait for the next one. Special thanks to Tim for being such a good sport!

Me! I get secondhand happiness!! The joy is contagious! Some of the best posts today were watching friends support other friends' kiddos and seeing their joy. Then watching my own in their happiness brings the biggest smile to my face. I'm so thankful for the people in my life. They are the richest blessings. 🩵

I graduated, accepted my first teaching job, went to Europe, moved to a new city, met some new friends, and fell in love with Jesus even more!!!!
