1 whole year of being DJ Wifi Wifey 🎧

One year ago I played live in front of a crowd for the very first time, at Bauhaus for Sound Dojo and Friends. I’ve said it before but to this day I still don’t know if I was screaming internally or out loud - probably both tbh 😭

I traded my living room setup and FLX4 for the big girl CDJs and finally got to showcase my own sound in front of real people instead of just my mirror and my cat.

Since then I’ve gone from my living room to clubs and venues all over Houston bc what’s a comfort zone anyway?! I was scared and nervous every single time but I have had the most fun expressing myself behind the decks.

So to the venues and promoters who took a chance on little ol’ me and booked me, to everyone who supported me, shared my content, and showed up to my gigs - your support means the world. Thank you for helping me build the confidence to even call myself a DJ.

And a huge thank you to the team at @wearesounddojo and @innerloopdjs! I’m forever grateful for the guidance and mentorship.

To anyone sitting on a dream right now, thinking it’s too late or too scary to start, don’t overthink it. Just get out there. I promise the internal screaming will decrease.   Here’s to year two! 🥂🎶
