SEQUEL-ATHON 2 GAME SHOWCASE MARATHON, DAY 5: Time to head to PlayStation for this “fiery” boogaloo with our favorite purple dragon! Say hello to SPYRO 2: RIPTO’S RAGE, the sequel to the first Spyro the Dragon game. This one was definitely an improvement over the original as the game was bigger, crisper, and with even smoother controls. Any fan of the classic platformer games would say that it’s a fun adventure. If you haven’t played it and are looking for a fun retro game on PS1, I’d say give the entire Spyro trilogy a run. 🗓 ORIGINAL RELEASE: 11/2/1999 📺 SWIPE FOR CLASSIC 🇺🇸 TV COMMERCIAL! 🕹My Legendary Partners🕹 👾 @vidgameamigo 👾 @simplicity_gaming_ 👾 @banditthecollector 👾 @silver_fox_gaming_36 👾 @shyspooksttv 👾 @gamingpints 👾 @robsgamecollection 👾 @thedutchgamecave 👾 @peachy170802 ...and check out the tagged creators as well! ——————————————————— Fuel up your gaming experience with @dubby.gg Use code FIX8D for 10% off your next purchase at www.dubby.gg 📌TAGS📌 #playstation #ps1games #playstationgames #spyrothedragon #retrovideogames

SEQUEL-ATHON 2 GAME SHOWCASE MARATHON, DAY 2: Turtles, you’re up to bat! Say hello to the NES sequel, TMNT 2: THE ARCADE GAME. If you’re a fan of the arcade game, like me, then this was the game you were looking for after the horrendous TMNT original. Of course, it’s been watered down to the NES’ capabilities, but it’s got some added bonuses not seen in the arcade including exclusive levels and boss replacements. The boogaloo continues! 🗓 ORIGINAL RELEASE: 11/15/1991 📺 SWIPE FOR CLASSIC 🇺🇸 TV COMMERCIAL! ——————————————————— Fuel up your gaming experience with @dubby.gg Use code FIX8D for 10% off your next purchase at www.dubby.gg 📌TAGS📌 #teenagemutantninjaturtles #arcadegames #nintendogames #nesgames #tmnt

WELCOME BACK TO HOLLYWOOD GAME SHOWCASE MARATHON, DAY 3: Our third Hollywood day takes us to Chicago during the Prohibition era and joining a team of cops who take on the notorious Al Capone. Say hello to “The Untouchables”, a game loosely based on the 1987 film. The game actually follows the majority of the film as some levels do take place during scenes of the movie. As a fan of the film, I didn’t know this even existed. It was a highly praised game at the time of release and one that should be in your collection if you are a fan of this genre of games. 🗓 ORIGINAL RELEASE: 8/1994 📺 SWIPE FOR CLASSIC 🇺🇸 TV COMMERCIAL! ——————————————————— Fuel up your gaming experience with @dubby.gg Use code FIX8D for 10% off your next purchase at www.dubby.gg 📌TAGS📌 #supernintendo #snesgames #videogames #retrovideogames #moviegames

WELCOME BACK TO HOLLYWOOD GAME SHOWCASE MARATHON, DAY 1: We’re back in Hollywood! For our first day, let’s check out the game based on Robin Williams’ film, “Hook”. The game was mediocre upon release, and it tries its hardest to mimic the movie. This is especially heard with the music’s game score, which was influenced by the film’a score by the great John Williams. All the movie’s settings are there, but it doesn’t really follow Peter’s journey of “finding himself” as Pan. And if it does, it’s pretty simplified. It’s a fun little adventure, but not something that you NEED to play. 🗓 ORIGINAL RELEASE: 1992-1993 📺 SWIPE FOR CLASSIC 🇺🇸 TV COMMERCIAL! ——————————————————— Fuel up your gaming experience with @dubby.gg Use code FIX8D for 10% off your next purchase at www.dubby.gg 📌TAGS📌 #segagenesis #retrovideogames #moviegames #videogames #segagames

GAME SHOWCASE: Let’s continue to celebrate #WeekOfMetroid hosted by the awesome @unlimitedretrogaming with this GameCube Classic. Metroid… just hearing the name brings a smile to many gamers’ faces. The adventures of Samus Aran is a staple of many gamers who grew up during her NES and SNES eras. Then we had a drought where the franchise laid dormant… until a small gaming studio in Texas took the reins and brought her back in a whole new way! That’s where the story of “Metroid Prime” began. Developed by Retro Studios, the game was massive! Never would I have believed that we’d get a FPS Metroid game, and so beautifully made. This is definitely a strong game for GameCube. What a revival this was and a way to bring back Samus to modern gamers! 🗓 ORIGINAL RELEASE: 11/18/2002 📺 SWIPE FOR CLASSIC 🇺🇸 TV COMMERCIAL! ——————————————————— Fuel up your gaming experience with @dubby.gg Use code FIX8D for 10% off your next purchase at www.dubby.gg 📌TAGS📌 #metroid #metroidprime #nintendogames #gamecube

The game carries the perfect title because it’s the perfect remake to the Game Boy classic from 1991, “Metroid 2”. Everything was remade with this one, and playing it with the 3D technology… what an experience! Metroid fans that haven’t played it should definitely pick this one up. 🗓 ORIGINAL RELEASE: 09/15/2017 📺 SWIPE FOR CLASSIC 🇺🇸 TV COMMERCIAL! ——————————————————— Fuel up your gaming experience with @dubby.gg Use code FIX8D for 10% off your next purchase at www.dubby.gg 📌TAGS📌 #metroid #nintendogames #3dsgames #videogames
