This cheerful group all work in @cubitthouse elegant pubs in Belgravia; Nottinghill; Marylebone & Mayfair - where @coatesandseely is BTG in each site & poured enthusiastically. The food is great: using locally sourced ingredients where possible & cooked imaginatively, with a twist, under Executive chef & author Ben Tish, whom I had the fun experience of working with @princessroyalnottinghill for a C&S dinner not so long ago. Their enthusiasm today was palpable - the decibels in the dining room reached a new high & we are delighted to have met so many of them & shown them the vineyards & winery.

Ever wondered what happens when the veil between the living and the dead is said to become thinner?

Día de los Muertos is a Mexican tradition where families remember and celebrate loved ones who have passed away. The belief is that during this time, their spirits can return to visit the people they love. ❤️

That’s where the ofrenda comes in! It’s a colourful altar filled with photos, marigolds, candles, favourite foods and little treasures that remind us of those we’ve lost. Think of it as getting the house ready for a very special visit!

And we’re bringing this beautiful tradition to The Orange! We’ll be creating our own communal altar, bringing together meaningful offerings and memories to celebrate the people who will always have a place in our hearts. 🌼
