NIRVANA GROUP RIDE 🔥 lived up to expectations 🤟

We went to Bike Fest by @access_adventures_yandc held at @hurtwood_hideout great event with food, beer, band playing. Good vibes.

We joined @nirvanacycles for one of their legendary group rides and with the hot weather and no rain, made for the most dusty conditions ive ever rode in, so funny.

Vlog live 6pm tonight 🤙

Exploring Sussex by pedal power.

Overseas visitors have so much choice when visiting the area, and we love showing them the very best of the South Downs National Park on two wheels.

Recently, we had back-to-back adventures on the Eastern Downs, with our friends at Cuckmere Cycle Co. providing top-tier bike hire. Swipe through to see what they got up to:

🇳🇱 Stuart and his family from the Netherlands joined Rhonda to take in the Long Man of Wilmington, Friston Forest, and views from Firle Beacon.

🇯🇵 A day later, Sean hosted Ryoma, over from Tokyo visiting family, for a ride through the Cuckmere Valley and high up on Windover Hill.

☕️ 🌮 Naturally, both groups wrapped up their rides with a well-earned lunch at the Saltmarsh Farmhouse Cafe.

Latest Vlog is live 🔥 Few beers and dual slalom, what can go wrong 🤣

Something I wanted to do for awhile is camp in the Hills. So we booked ourselves in at @hurtwood_hideout for a weekend of bikes, beers, fire and bants. Will definitely be doing this again 🤟

So what have I been up to?

I was able to grab myself a space on @sportabikeplus inaugural Loop of Flanders trip which rolled out Wednesday & we ‘rolled’ back Sunday.
3 1/2 days of incredible cycling. All the routes were planned & were emailed to us weeks ago to enhance our excitement & tickle the cycle ‘taste buds’.
Our host, Sam, was exceptional & provided informative & fun morning ‘roll calls’ interspersed with much needed advice such as “this one is spicey”* & “you must stop here for a coffee”
All of our gear was transported to each hotel as we tapped thru the countryside from cobbled climbs to canal pathways & coastal cycle tracks.
We had the privilege of riding around the Roubaix Velodrome, tackling iconic climbs such as the Paterberg & the ‘Mur’.
We of course had the opportunity to pay our respects at the sobering & thought provoking plethora of war memorial sites in the area.
Some 370km were ticked off, 12-14 flat whites consumed, the ‘odd’ Belgium beer slipped down & waffles may have been seen falling down my gullet.
Above all, I had an awesome cycling break, met some lovely new cycling buddies, discovered new routes, smashed some PBs & feel healthier, both mentally & physically.
I can’t recommend @sportabikeplus enough - if you’re looking for a new adventure or to cycle somewhere different, whether you’re going alone like me or wish to book as a group or club - go check them out.

Spicey* may or may not relate to a climb that may or may not produce a sweat and/or swearing! 😎
