During dinner, Jouke will bring the art of Kendo to Arigato Show. ⚔️

Kendo, meaning “the way of the sword,” is a modern Japanese martial art rooted in the traditions of the samurai. It is built around discipline, respect, focus and control. 🙏🇯🇵

For a moment, the music fades and the room becomes part of something completely different.

Later that night, Jouke switches the sword for the decks and takes us from Japanese tradition to the dance floor. 🎶🔥

This is Amsterdam’s most famous fries spot 🍟 and with 24 sauces to choose from, I can already tell I’d need about 45 minutes just to decide.

We went for the truffle parmesan 🤤 and oorlog, a proper Dutch classic with mayo, satay sauce and onions.

They’re freshly cut and double-fried, and the locations are right in the city centre — by Dam Square and the famous dancing houses near Central Station.

Basically, fries + an iconic Amsterdam photo spot = a pretty perfect combo.
