Everyone! Time to do a re-introduction & a LisaLivesNorth, Jeff & TAKOTA COFFEE update! I started Lisa Lives North years back taking ya’l through a journey of life in the PNW & Native heritage showcasing hand crafted Native American jewelry & more. 2023 I found myself waking up from a comma in ICU in the brain trauma unit after suffering a brain aneurism rupture. 3 emergency brain procedures, on a ventilator, feeding tubes, paralyzed on my left side, blind in both eyes. They said I’d never get my vision back, most likely never walk again, if I could somehow it would never be normal. When that artery burst it tried to take me with it! I’ve gone through alot of physical rehab, a fierce battle to make it back & somehow miracle after miracle after 💪🏼 here I am today. I’m not done! Am I back to my old self? No. This is the new version w/reflections of the past pushing forward for each day to come. I founded TAKOTA COFFEE in 2018. Jeff joined me full time as COO. I’ve not yet sat down at my jewelry bench. Strength & steadiness in my hands I’m working towards. I can & do walk every day I’m given! My brain team of doctors are blown away at my recovery. My eyesight? That itself is a miraculous story & I’m here today to say I can legally drive & have so much thankfulness in my heart for sight, sound, for legs & feet that carry me & a business that’s growing & thriving in coffee. I’m still pushing & gaining every day. I’ve always said my entire life “I’m not go’n down without a fight!” And I’m NOT! Please stay with me as we walk this journey of life together! You’ll find me here, also sling’n TAKOTA COFFEE! PLEASE FOLLOW @takotacoffeeroasters There’s a 1st time purchase discount code up on the website for you right now! No matter what life throws at us let’s hold on! There is so much purpose we cannot see! It unfolds as we take movement forward! Thank you for being here with me💖 #braininjury #brainaneurismsurvivor #cleaneating #organiccoffee #survivor #tbisurvivor #bestcoffee

Hi Ya’l! I’ve been in California for several days as my aunt crossed over the vale so we gathered with family from far & near to honor her passing. This is my Uncle Will. I want to share him with you as he is so dear to me as all my family are. Uncle Will is my God Father, I am his God Daughter. Oh how I love him so! He is known as Buffalo Will. And he raised Buffalo/Bison on his ranch in El Dorado Hills California. He has since sold off his herd & all that remains now is this taxidermy of his prized bull affectionately known as “Bully”. My uncle is so incredibly proud of TAKOTA COFFEE and what we are doing to help give back to the reservations here in America to honor our Native heritage & culture. He wanted to put on his headdress and have pictures taken of him holding a bag of TAKOTA COFFEE as he lifts it up saying “Good Medicine!” He also loves top quality coffee that is clean & full bodied so he is all about promoting it. Don’t be surprised if you see him in our future marketing! I love that we all came together to honor our dear aunt and I know without a doubt that she loves she was able to bring us all together. It will take me a bit to ‘assimilate’ once I return to Oregon as my heart is so deeply rooted in those who are flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone. I treasure this time & long never to leave them but I know our spirits are connected deeply & know without a doubt we will all be together again. #nativeamerican #nativeculture #nativeheritage #family #bestcoffee #coffeeculture #organiccoffee #chemicalfreecoffee #cleancoffee #liveorganic #lovemyfamily #bison #buffalo #coffeebean

Multnomah Falls, Sunset in the Columbia River Gorge, Multnomah Falls Lodge. A beautiful day from early in the morning till after sunset yesterday in the Gorge. Well spent with meet & greets for TAKOTA COFFEE, sun filled azure skies, rolling hill drives in Dufur Oregon, walks along the edge waters of the Columbia River watching sun setting reflections, dancing water falling into its natural pool below and being spoiled in a private dinning experience within Multnomah Falls Lodge. This is a day well lived. And this was a ‘work day’ #blessedbeyondmeasures #oregoncoffee #bestcoffee #multnomahfalls #thegorge #columbiarivergorge #blessed

What a great day we had at Farm Stand in The Dalles yesterday! What a great Monday starting the week off with everyone at this incredible market in the heart of The Dalles! Met fabulous people coming in for breakfast & lunch at the deli/cafe! People meeting up for coffee with friends & business meetings. Customers doing their grocery shopping & even little ones pushing little ‘My Size’ grocery carts on their hunt for the hidden Sasquatch in order to win a piece of candy for finding the illusive beast. Even had a group of linemen off a nearby development site stop in all savoring free TAKOTA COFFEE samples & many purchasing fresh roasted packages of our coffee beans out the door with them to savor on the daily. Can’t wait to be back on Friday, February 14th, YESSS VALENTINES DAY to do it all over again! CANCELLED DUE TO WINTER WEATHER🥶 This is something we offer our wholesale partners. We call them ‘Sip & Greets’ where we get to set up on site, hand out free sample cups of our fresh roasted/fresh brewed coffee profiles & tell our story to those who so graciously take valued time to listen. We even sold several of our TAKOTA COFFEE MUGS! Why? Because TAKOTA means Friend & Coffee is your friend!’ If you’re in the area this coming Friday come in & say “HOWDY!” ⬆️CANCELED DUE TO ICE & SNOW‼️ We will reschedule & let you know!👍🏼 #coffeelover #coffeetime #organic #organicfood #thedalles #thedallesoregon #thegorge #columbiarivergorge #hoodriver #organiccoffee
