Winter grind starts now. It’s been a tough few days in the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 @england.golf camp strength and conditioning Friday evening at Swindon then all day training Sim, short game and course play Saturday and Sunday in Bath @cumberwellpark with @ajgolfcoaching so much fun and I feel I’m learning so much. Then back at home with online strength and conditioning Monday night before tonight’s lesson with @scottggolf working hard on my posture and swing positions. Busy but I’m loving it 💪🏼😂 #golf #fypシ゚viralシ #girlsinsports #proud

Decent weekend of training whilst @rileybanksgolf was with the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 regional squad 🏌️‍♂️

My very own 15-hour golf bootcamp. More cost-effective than driving back and forth… that’s my excuse anyway! 😅

Main focus was on the weaker areas, dialling in the wedges from 60–120 yards. Got a little video coming this week showing how I put that session together! 🎥 @cumberwellpark is just tge best practice venue too 👌🏼

Still squeezed in a few hours in Bath with Mrs B for the best scone in Bath… got to get the balance right! ☕️🍰

New ThermoSeries gear feom @footjoyeurope much needed too 🥶

What’s top of your practice list this winter? 👇

I’m absolutely loving my new hobby, one I never expected to take up, let alone enjoy quite this much in all honesty 🙂

I first discovered the ParaGolfer earlier in the year at the Her Power Her Play event, where I’d been invited to speak on a panel about women in sport. I went along to talk about my journey in sport… and somehow came away having discovered a whole new one for myself!

Golf was never something I imagined myself playing, but being able to play standing, to swing freely and experience sport from a completely different perspective is pretty special.

Post professional athlete retirement, there’s something really lovely about being a beginner again. No pressure, no expectations, no big goal. Just learning, getting a few things wrong (quite a few 😂), and enjoying it purely because I can.

This one is just for me. ❤️⛳️

A big thank you to Her Power Her Play for the unexpected introduction to my new hobby, and a very special thank you to the lovely Sarah Gee at Cumberwell Golf Club for making me feel so welcome last week, for all her patience and encouragement, and for teaching me what I know so far. I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the game, I can’t wait to come back! ❤️

We were delighted to see such a strong turnout of active individuals at Cumberwell Park for our specialist seminar, “Preserve Your Knees & Protect Your Performance.”

Following a relaxed reception, Mr Ben Lankester Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, delivered an insightful presentation on long-life joint health.

Ben explored common sports-related knee conditions, key preventative measures and the advanced treatment pathways available at Sulis Hospital.
