it took me a really long time to make this post bc i didn’t know how to accept that something like this came to an end—i know now that it didn’t, really. every experience i had this summer, every leaf that i touched or touched me, every bird song that played in the wind, the sounds of the mountains, the water trickling and crashing softly on the rocks, everyone’s laughter//cries//yells, the things we made together. the land we tended to. they are always with me. everything and everyone i was so lucky to call home has changed me forever, thank you for doing that, im forever indebted to u. i love u so much

𝕝𝕠𝕤𝕥 𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕨𝕠𝕠𝕕𝕤 Back country 2024 … Spent a whole 6 months living off grid in the woods constructing the very hiking trails people walk on. Would I do it again? Hell yeah Live life raw baby, go see the world for what it truly is 🏔️

summer’24 🌲 I did the backcountry trails program and it was thee hardest thing I have ever done and thee longest 5 & 1/2 months of my life, womp-womp 😿 but I would do it all I again 😼 anyways fujifilm pics finally came in hehe 🪨

Wow what a summer. As many of you know I spent 5 months building and maintaining trials with the California Conservations Corps Backcountry Trails Program in Sequoia National Park and Tahoe National Forest! We hiked like 600 miles, built 1.25 miles of brand new trail and bathed in rivers, lakes and ponds. On the weekends we backpacked and camped around the forests and got all our supplies, mail and food delivered by mules. So much goes into supporting a crew of 12 trail workers so HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who kept us alive and making progress on the trail out there. So much happened over those five months there’s no way to put it all into words so here are some pictures from my film camera of the beautiful places we went and the beautiful people that were with me along the way!
