Coming in at #9 in our Womens XC recruiting rankings is......

CONCORDIA

Concordia brings in a MASSIVE recruiting class.... 15 total women! However, we will only discuss 9 of them.

Leading off this group are three girls who have broken 19 in XC in their HS careers, all of whom should be in the top 5 immediately.
Rachel Prince is the biggest recruit Concordia is bringing in, with times of 5:15 in the 1600, 11:23 in the 3200, and 18:50 in XC. Next is Hope Beck, who has a 2:17 800, and didn't really run anything past that in track, but did run 5:23 1600 as a sophomore and 11:36 in the 3200 as a freshman. She ran 18:53 in XC her senior year. Finally, we have Katie Johnson, who comes in with a 5:30 1600, 11:54 3200, and 18:58 XC time.

Next is Amanda Smith out of Earlham HS in Iowa. She was more of an MD specialist in HS, running 2:29 in the 800, but also ran 19:36 in the 5K in cross country.

Violet Whitney, out of Parker Lutheran in Colorado, ran 2:26 in the 800, 5:32 in the 1600, and 20:04 in XC. Similar to her, Brooke Thayer-Burke ran 2:33 in the 800, 5:52 in the 1600, 12:29 in the 3200, and 20:41 in the 5K in cross. Both of these recruits will need to develop a little bit before making a huge impact for their team.

Next is the only transfer in this group, Madelynn Sprengel who will be a sophomore, coming from William Woods. she ran 12:44 in the 3K, and has a 22:34 5K in XC.

Rounding out the group is Sophia Rudzinski, with a 25:57 5K XC, and Demi Aitken, with a 62 sec 400, and will have her first ever cross country season in the fall.

The remaining recruits who were not gone in depth are listed below:
Ellie Badstieber (2:19 800)
Kylie Gosch (20:59 5K XC)
Lottie Hamre (2:24 800)
Ava Brumbaugh (21:26 5K XC)
Faith Jipp (2:23 800)

Concordia gives their 2025 XC individual qualifier, Keeli Green, some much needed help in the team efforts. The team will be much improved this year thanks to this year's recruiting class, and Concordia will look to make a nationals birth this coming fall.
