Every witch needs their black cat 💔

For anyone that knows me, they know that pets aren’t just animals to me.. they are family that chooses you. One summer night I heard meowing at the window and soon as I stepped outside, Merv runs up to me and rubs his cheek against my leg.. then followed me back and walked through the door. He found me, chose me and decided he was home.

The past 15 years he has seen my absolute highs and literal darkest hours. I’m honored to have been chosen as his cat mom and I’m so so grateful for all the smiles, cuddles, laughs and support he has given me. 🌈

I love you so much Merv 😭 I’ll see you on the other side 🖤🌙🐈‍⬛

HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY TO MY DAWG!!! 🎂🎂🎂

I literally am the luckiest dog mom and I can’t believe how fast they grow 😭

Backstory: Cupid was found on the anniversary of my dad’s death and the lady that found him took him to my mom on the anniversary of my grandma’s death.. which happens to be right before Christmas. My entire life I grew up with golden retrievers and they were basically my dad’s favorite besides me & my brother & his grandkids. So Cupid showing up when he did was serendipitous. Sometimes there are obvious signs from people on the other side that it’s just okay to move on. You can experience both grief & joy in duality. #griefjourney
