When the roast reaches the right drop temperature, every sense matters. ☕🔥

I check the beans with the sampling spoon, follow the aroma, and listen carefully before opening the drum. Then comes the drop—the beans falling onto the cooling tray as the sound of the roast fills the roastery.
From heat to cooling, every second shapes the final cup.

The final pour brings the character to life. ☕✨
Latte art is where technique, patience, and creativity meet. From perfectly textured milk to the last steady movement, every detail matters.

Every cup is a canvas. What should I pour next?

From the very beginning, you showed me so much kindness, not just as your employee, but as someone you treated like a friend or even like family. Being around you always felt so comfortable and lighthearted.

Thank you, Madam, for allowing me to know you and cloudyy 🐈🐱You’re one of the coolest and kindest bosses I’ve ever met. Please keep in touch. Always take care of yourselves. I’m really going to miss you all. ❤️

Sending a little coffee treat just got easier using @beanz.ae ☕️🎁

With the BEANZ app, you can gift a coffee or send BEANZ Credit straight to someone. Choose a drink and send it for them to redeem at the cafe, or send credit so they can pick their own cafe and order exactly what they want 🤍

A cute little way to surprise your besties with their next coffee, wherever they are and I chose to redeem mine at @cupital.cafe ☕️

There’s a lot to love about Le Galion. But one thing in particular: they stubbornly resist trends and keep half a dozen unfashionable freshies in their collection — and not just keeping them alive in some dubious state, but actively maintaining and rethinking them with people who understand this material better than anyone else around.

My pick for today is two. Two perfumers who genuinely love vintage. It’s more or less a common place these days (and you even hear it from some perfumers themselves) to complain about regulatory restrictions — which, fair enough, are real and can’t be dismissed — and to reach for a thousand reasons why reissues of old formulas never smell old anymore. But often, barring outright indifference to the project, the real reason is simpler: nobody set out to actually recreate it. There was no artistic director willing to reject some off-the-shelf composition from a big fragrance house in favor of something built from scratch, true to the brief. On that front, Le Galion has its house in order.

Whip (originally Paul Vacher, 1953) is a perfect textbook chypre — bergamot, petitgrain, aromatic herbs, and moss. This is genre-pure perfumery, a teaching aid of a fragrance, pure pleasure, at a time when the modern Eau Sauvage has nearly lost all its contrasting structure and, if you’re lucky, comes across as merely woody-citrus. Here, everything’s intact, everything’s the way it used to be. Thomas Fontaine (at once president of the Osmothèque in Versailles, no less, and the man rethinking Jean Patou’s classics) clearly knows exactly what he’s doing.

Eau Noble (originally Paul Vacher, 1972), in Rodrigo Flores-Roux’s version, sits closer to a cologne than a chypre (terror course the ice is thin here). It reminds me of my beloved Christian Dior’s Eau de Cologne Fraîche, back when beneath a heap of juicy citrus something leathery lurked, when freshness didn’t cancel out sex appeal. Back when chest hair (and everywhere else, for that matter) wasn’t shaved daily, when a beard line wasn’t laser-trimmed monthly, and a shower and a splash of cologne were still the main masculine ritua
