It was a joy to support our partners @safehub_philly by bringing the grill by to serve up burgers and hot dogs for Family day.

As the families enjoyed a day of organized activities including relay races and a parents soccer match ⚽️
We made sure the food kept on coming for all those in attendance.

Our volunteers also got to do some face painting and tattoo for the kids. Such a beautiful day to be in the community.

They say if you didn’t take a pic it didn’t happen, right?! Well… look at all these people. ☺️

Standing in that room, surrounded by all of these faces, I felt it as something personal.

They say you gotta believe in yourself and the things you set your mind to. And I do. But I believe in so much more than just myself. I believe in people power, in community, in local business. I believe local businesses have the power to transform lives, because I am an example of that. And I believe in my team, that when we’re all united for good, good things keep happening.

I think about the woman I continue to become, who I represent, and the hope I carry, and I’m just grateful. Grateful for my tribe and my circle of trust. Grateful for all the good things in life and the great leaders around me. Grateful that this work, my work, gets to mean something.

They say it takes a village. It does. And I’m so proud of mine. ( Love you all 💗)

🎉 25 years of SBN, @sbngreaterphiladelphia celebrated where it belongs: in the heart of local Philly business.

This week we gathered at Reading Terminal Market to mark a quarter century of advancing a just, green, and thriving local economy. The energy in Center Court said it all: local businesses showing up for local businesses.
The morning started at City Hall, where Councilmember Jamie Gauthier @councilmemberjg sponsored a Philadelphia Council resolution recognizing SBN’s 25 years of impact. Then we headed to Reading Terminal @rdgterminalmkt to celebrate with the people who make this work possible.

🐶🚚 COMMUNITY IMPACT IN ACTION! 🚚🐶

Last Friday, CARE joined forces with Safe-Hub Philadelphia to distribute 10,000 lbs of Kismet dog food to families throughout the community!

Safe-Hub works year-round to empower youth and strengthen neighborhoods through sports, mentorship, education, and family-centered programming. Together, we were able to extend that impact to pets and the people who love them. Every bag distributed means one less worry for a family and one more pet staying healthy, fed, and at home. ❤️🐾

It was a beautiful thing to see community programs come together across state lines 🚌 🤝

Our CARE Center partners @unlimitedpotential___ brought youth from his program in Baltimore to Philly to connect with his mentors from @asiplantthisseed

They had a panel discussion with some of the heroes that helped shape our community leaders childhood and answered questions from the youth 👨‍🏫

The Tree House was also filled with some other familiar community powerhouses such as @citywidementalhealth & @safehub_philly
