When Brazilian Funk meets Indie House?

Honestly, we don’t really know what to call it, but the vibe is real. @akalexmusic is back with a new release featuring the talented @mcdonzelaa, exploring new sounds somewhere between Brazilian Funk and Indie House.

The drop features a classic Prophet-5 lead played by @leowolf, recorded during a studio session in Paris.

when i heard that @thexx had approved my version of 'crystalised' i was driving a van on the texas highway and i remember trying not to crash the car but also wtf?!! this cover made me start my 'what if this song... was disco' series and brought so many good moments to the stage (like slide 2 at @sonestrellagalicia on formentera) - now it's out for over a year and been streamed over a million times 🔮 thank you all for listening guys xx

sometimes you need to live with a feeling
before you know what it really means. when there's a delay between what's happening and how it shapes you - i wrote a song about, it's called 'the aftermath' and today this song is out 🦋

before we all head off into that time between the years, i have one last song for you - 'the aftermath' - the slowest track i've released to this day and i feel i need to share it now when we all slow down and reflect on the past months in our manic world. out tomorrow!
