We'd like to thank every single team that came to our EPIC scrimmage right before Regionals! This was such an amazing and unforgettable experience to be able to practice with such talented teams in our region. We'd like to especially thank Jane D. '26, Katelyn V. '27, and Sophia L. '27 for helping organize! Awesome job everyone and be ready for some awesome Regionals photos! #omgrobots #firsttechchallenge @firsttechsocal @firstlikeagirl

🧊🛳️ On February 22nd, our General Body Meeting focused on Environmental Engineering, with a huge thank you to our member Zarah and her sister/teammate from her school’s robotics team @curiosity11770 for leading such an impactful session. 🌍

From middle and high schoolers designing maritime trade ships out of sustainable materials to our elementary students engineering insulation to protect ice cubes, the creativity was off the charts. 🚢❄️

For Professional Development, we focused on the art of Public Speaking. It’s one thing to build a great solution and it’s another to communicate its value effectively.

✨ RESOURCE PACKAGE RELEASE – CLOSING FTC INTERNATIONAL – SPARKS INNOVATION ✨
A journey not too long, but long enough to spark inspiration and leave lasting milestones.
FTC International – Sparks Innovation has officially concluded after a series of dynamic workshops, discussions, and hands-on technical sessions.

Throughout the event, students immersed themselves in practical training, explored modern design thinking, and examined robot operation strategies widely used by international FTC teams.

The openness and willingness to share among teams created a “mini ecosystem” where knowledge flowed and ideas thrived — perfectly aligned with our goal of helping students reach global standards and strengthen their STEM mindset for their long-term robotics journey.

✨ A heartfelt thank you to our speakers and partner teams: Team Matrix, Rebel Robotics, Viperbots Leviathan, Potential Energy, Open Source, Curiosity, Rise and Shine, CVA Stem Crew…, as well as all students who contributed to a truly impactful and professional event.

To continue supporting you for the upcoming official FTC season, we will be sharing a comprehensive resource package, including:
• Workshop videos & technical presentations
• Strategy notes & practical guidelines
• Coding, mechanical design & robot optimization materials
• Technical analyses developed throughout the training process

📌Links to the materials and recordings of the workshop:

These resources represent the collective effort, competition experience, and international spirit of collaboration — helping you strengthen your foundation and confidently prepare your robots for the new season.

See you again at future FTC arenas — where robots keep moving, the community keeps growing, and every idea has the chance to shine.

Expanding opportunity, one tournament at a time! 🤖💜 Earlier this month, Marlborough hosted a FIRST Lego League (FLL) Qualifier Tournament, welcoming 24 teams and over 300 participants to campus for a day of robotics competition. The event was spearheaded by Curiosity 11770 members Sarah S. ‘26 and Chloe T. ‘26, who spent two years founding an all-girls FLL team at the Hollywood Boys and Girls Club, coaching young roboticists, and realizing that tournament access was a major barrier for Central LA teams. Their solution? Host one themselves. With incredible support from our community, including their teammates on Curiosity, they made it happen—bringing competitive robotics closer to hundreds of students who needed it most!

So much fun meeting old friends and making new ones. Tess is getting low on Platypus earrings, but still has some left if anyone finds her tomorrow during finals matches and awards.
